Heh, no idea why he chose to take his cross dressing to work. Should've just did that at night rather. People like that SHOULD get canned.

On one hand I think it was wrong to do (fire him), but on the other hand, many jobs have required dress codes. Not even a woman teacher could wear a corset to work (if he did) hehe

I am not surprised to hear this coming from Kentucky of all places. That individual (Mr. "Overdressed") tries to make a statement at the wrong place. No understanding can be possibly found from a school system so provincial-minded. It's like looking for a miniskirt in a crowd of Nuns.

Why?

His personal life should not interfere with his professional life. He had a job to do and if he wasn't going to be professional about it (and think nothing wrong of cross dressing at work; in front of his students) then I think his termination was well deserved.

I just thought of one of the butch lady professors I had that wore a suit and tie hehe I wouldn't imagine someone like her being fired for it, so if a guy in a dress was, it would be a double standard Nut If the dress code was specific like many companies do (men: shirt and tie), then they got 'em no matter what. But I kinda think if he actually made the effort to groom himself like a woman and at least dress like a professional woman then it wouldn't be such a huge problem. If he dressed like he did in the slide show at work, then he should have been fired, definitely. Not even women can dress like that at work.

In society, it is acceptable for women to dress in business suits and ties at work. Usually not the norm, but acceptable, notheless. However it is NOT acceptable for men to dress like women at work. Double standard? Perhaps, but that doesn't justify the man's case one bit.

It's a distraction to the students. They aren't at school to attend a drag show. They are there to learn.

Ahhh!!!!! You beat ME, 'Racer! I haven't eaten McDonald's for 10 years (and no meat for that long too!). Helps that, on our little island, got WAAAYYYYYY more rice-plate food places that you can choose from.

I don't get the superimposed, enlarged "emoticons" at the bottom of the screen . . . Asians created that?

I'm 1/2 Asian. The other, technically, Caucasian (Portuguese, to be exact) . . . is the marketing effort directed to folks like me, too?

What's McDonald's have for Asians for its "I'm Lovin' It" slogan? Dake shi me te?

I think it's disgusting.

McDonalds is HORRIBLE food for anyone...

their attempts at monopolization of the fast food markets of the world make me sick to my stomach.

Last time I was in Tokyo, I saw hundreds upon hundreds of schoolboys and girls hanging out and eating in that horrible place.

I used to eat it too... I no longer eat at that preservative filled hell house.

The children of generations of people that lived long and healthy lives bastardizing their diets by replacing rice and fish with fries and Big Macs makes me sick to my stomach.

I sorta feel the same way, but I don't think I'm as passionate/militant about it as you are... Smile

I do stop by a Carl's Jr. and In 'n' Out every now and then... Sweat
