Just for variety I'll say Minikui Ahiru no Ko. Yes, this is like Kinpachi Sensei but Kishitani Goro is hilarious and Tokiwa Takako is as well.

I saw this years ago on KTSF. There's similarities to both Onizuka and Kinpachi.

I got to find this then. The few reviews on this site sound really good.

For my favourite sensei, it's got to be Medaka. Mr Green

Good luck with that search. Since this drama is so old ( it says 1996 ), the only copies, if any even exist out there are VHS I'm sure. I didn't record it off tv when it aired so the only copy I have is from Japanese tv on VHS. Quality is of course an issue. If I knew or had the equipment to transfer it to dvd I would but even then, the video is rather grainy.

It's too bad Japanese t.v. stations don't go back and release dvds of these "golden age" dramas like they do with US t.v. show box sets. I would surely pay region 2 prices for a couple classic ones.
