funny you should say, i prefer cardio...my longest run was 1 hr 40 min, just over 8 miles.
heavy weights would take a toll on me...but i do not neglect the weights as it is vital to the body to be both strong and in shape in cardio. |
I love cardio. Today I was on the cardio machine for 1 1/4 hours. here's why. First the machine is a cross between a ski and stairmaster. Don't know what it's tech name is. Essentially you shuffle back and forth in a kind of stepping motion but your soles never raise off the footprint and you can set the incline to about 45 degrees. You can program the machine for various incline and resistance combos or control it manually.
So I place my beloved 9" DVD player on the faceplate and put on Kuraki Mai or BoA which transports me into music heaven... and their music has such great beats it makes me feel like I'm dancing on the machine. I don't even notice the time passage.
Naturally I do about 1/2 hour of heavy weights too to round off the experience.... and here too with my MP3 player keeping me company the weights are a cinch.
I give you credit for running though.... that is just something that I have no desire to do. Now and then I'll run around the upstairs track ONE time which is 1/8 mile and that's all for me.

think the machine you are referring to...and that you used was "eclipitic" machine...something like that, i've used it before, but i typically use the treadmill for my cardio, runs, when i do go to the gym....
having an mp3 player while working out, makes the workout much better.

Hope you're okay.. make sure you get checked out by a chiropractor, you may get soreness in a day or two. |
Yer right, I woke up sore this morning. Neck and shoulder area. I've called my massage lady to come over today. Hopefully she can make it go away. I might just be sore from tension.
Good call.

I was a little sore this morning, but everything is fine now. Nothing lasting.
I heard from Krim that this drama is like 50+ episodes. I have the feeling it'll be another year before I get to watch it. _________________

Glad to hear you're o.k., you're one tough Canadian, eh? Yeah, Taiga dramas generally run about 49 episodes. On topic: Having my traditional Sunday Afternoon Sake. BZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ

Just a little warning for this drama: be prepared for a major snooze fest. And really bleh acting from Tackey. _________________
