I have 3 backpacks now depending on where I'm going. One of the great things now in LA is the bus and train system. It is so much more convernient than driving the parking lots that are humorously called freeways. For instance to go to the Nisei festival I take my largest pack as I have to carry my camera and camcorder and associated equipment... The red train goes from the valley to Union station in about a 1/2 hour and a short bus ride of 5 blocks to Little Tokyo with no parking problems. Note since I'm a senior I get a monthly pass for $15 a month for all metro busses and trains.... but even for the less fortunate, the metro system now has a day pass for $3 for all the conveniences I have on my bus pass. And the new super busses are a delight to ride... like a limousine, with padded and covered seats and backs and 3 TVs. Other backpacks are smaller for shorter trips.

Watching Armerican Idol which together with Young & Restless are the only two non-Japanese shows I watch. But tonight is guys night and that is boring as can be .... Can't wait for tomorrow night - girls yippee....

nah...i don't really compare the girls i go out with on dates.

it's not really fair to compare the real girls to Japanese singers/models.

on topic, i might watch more of Sailor Moon Live Action, i have a lot of eps left to watch.
