Watching another car chase on channel 9. It's not a high speed chase because the guy can't be going more than 30 mph. Why don't these dummies just pull over?!!?

earlier in the evening, i was studying Japanese grammar from a book that i bought from Kinokuniya from last month. I am also learning the Hiragana and Katakana characters from another book i bought, this one from Asahiya.
tough learning a foreign language, especially on your own for self-enrichment.
Yesterday I came across some "self study" book about Japanese language in bulgarian and I decided to buy it and have a look. Well now I'm reading it and things aren't good at all - it turned out that it's been written from some nutty university professor and the style is just too academic and definitely not self-study...

@ahochaude: Purchase receipt? What is this? If you are talking about returning it - this is not possible in BG, once you leave the store with the purchase is all yours for life... Fortunately it costed only 12 BGN (~7 USD) and I'm still not giving up on learning something from this book

Really?!
Whoa. That's tough on the buyer. Lucky you got it for a cheap price.
When I was working at Louis Vuitton, I learned that there are some countries that can't exchange or return merchandise due to country laws. The countries we were taught were India and Russia. Maybe because there are LV stores there (which is why they only taught us about those two countries)? Idk. Is there an LV store in Bulgaria? (You guys are under Romania, right?) If there is, they should've taught us about that too.
Anyway, good for you! Learn whatever you can from that book and then use the pages as toilet paper when you're done.

Heh, I just finished taking a shower how many hours later than I said I would and I'll be off to bed in a sec. Gotta get up in 4 hours.

Ganbatte, Boris!! I know the feeling, I have sometimes bought a language instruction book, and the guy that wrote is either so clueless or talking over everybody's heads and I'm thinking, "Geez, this was a total waste!" But sooner or later I usually find something useful somewhere in the book.

Lol what a party. I'm joinin it too
Yep, the prices are still low here at least until we join the EU. We don't have an LV store here, but we have a relation with Russia - 45 years spend in building of bright communist future . This shopping issue is just one of the remains of that time.

Hahaha, it may sound funny but there were times when you simply can't find toilet paper or anything else in the stores in BG Good that I was little child at that time and I don't remember them...
@gaijin mark: "Ganbatte" - here is something I should learn The odd thing with this book is that actually I've tough time reading bulgarian text inside and can't concentrate on actual matter - Japanese lng.
And not to go too offtopic:
I'm currently drinking a cup of black coffe and working in the meantime.
