Pretty cool being able to view the entire attic without needing a light. |
Any monkeys hanging out up there? I know they're your favorite.

Nope, but the neighbor's cat was nosing around... A couple of plastic BB's fired in it's direction chased it off.

I usually stuff dead mice with rat poison and offer them an olive branch...their last.

My neighbors would be a tad put off by that, though the thought has crossed my mind more than once.

You should get a Nerf water gun and fill it with Tabasco. A little hot shot straight to the head.

Kidding of course. Although there is neighborhood cat that comes to my backyard every so often to kill pigeons and birds looking for snacks on my lawn.

Good idea!
EDIT: Roofers are now pounding away: replacing bad wood and adding in sheathing.

Joking aside, cats, for some reason, actually like eating rat poison. Though the seizures before death are probably not as enjoyable.

While not endorsing any method of "pest control", I'd say too bad. Like dogs, if you have cats or any other pets it's your responsibility to control them. That includes keeping them in your home and out of others. Who knows what that cat wants to do in your attic(ie take a shit, hide it's kills, mark it with it's urine, etc). Once it's on your property, I say it's trespassing and fair game.

Yup.
But it's not terribly conducive to good neighbor relations.

Rat poison out for rats. Cat came and decided it was a free buffet. 60 seconds of what looks like young adults dancing in a club. Worm food. Somebody cue up the "Circle of Life" song.
