Actually it is really warm and humid this week. But my husband suggested me getting one for when the weather gets drier. Which is too soon I'm sure.

Have you ever thought of drinking fresh pineapple juice when you are suffering bouts of bronchitis? Fresh pineapple juice contains the enzyme bromelain which is powerful remedy that helps people with respiratory conditions because it helps break down mucus.

 Couple other suggestions for bronchitis.

Inflammation of the bronchia tubes owing to excess mucus in the lungs, caused by vicarious elimination of toxic wastes from the bloodstream to the lungs: toxins irritate and inflame tender lung and bronchial tissues as they excrete, permitting infection by bacteria to occur; colonic irrigations have proven highly effective as a fast method of eliminating the excess toxic wastes from the system, so that they do not get pushed out through skin and lungs.

Carrot and dandelion juice: raw dandelion juice counteracts blood acidosis and helps alkalize the entire system, with particular affinity for the lungs; 4 oz with 10 oz carrot juice, 1-2 pints daily.

Horseradish and lemon juice: same effects and dosage as for asthma.

 Carrot and radish juice:

 Cranberries:

Think I'd rather have bronchitis than try some of those suggestions.

And pineapple juice gives me wicked sores in my mouth. But I love it.

Too bad. I'd drink any of those concoctions if it helped getting over being sick...but that's just me.

It wasn't the drinks that creeped me out.

But I don't think I could keep down horseradish and carrot juice.

You are a braver soul than I.

The carrot juice and dandelion juice sounded somewhat palatable.
Think I need to move to the tropics and avoid the season change altogether.
If I didn't have the horses I would.

I've juiced a lot in the past...but I've never tried the dandelion greens...I've always wanted to though. They are available at Whole Foods so may be I will one day.

The one to get is a warm mist humidifier: they literally boil the water to make the vapor, so it sterilizes the water... The cool mist ones use an ultrasonic device to create the mist and supposedly are less sterile and leaves a residue everywhere if you use tap water instead of distilled...
