If you can plug in your keyboard/mouse/printer to your PC, you can build one, like i told qilver earlier. No soldering involved. screwdriver is just about all you'll need.
For anyone that wants to try.... basic directions.
set your hard drive to Master (directions should have come with the drive)
plug in power cable
plug in IDE cable
screw in the drive to the case
close case
plug in power cable to wall
plug in both ends of the firewire cable
turn power on.
done. |
Krim.. one problem with that setup.. I own a laptop.

ahhhhhhhhh.. well.. there is a port for that.. but that would look weird wouldn't it? I mean, you have to buy the casing, the HD...
my external HD can also house another extra 100gb... im scared though.. what if it overheats? and all that crap..

my point is that if you can plug in a USB/firewire cable or something similar, you can assemble a ext hd.
all the plugs can only go in one way.

i am sure watching "pride" will warm you up some, with some good laughs and your favorite actors...
how cold is it there anyways?
dipping to about 40 degrees, that is quite cold for SoCal.

No, it's actually 2:20 AM. It has been a long day, but I suck at going to bed early.

if it was 2:20 than it was okay heading to the bed |
It's GMT -5 for East Cost and GMT -8 for West Cost and GMT -10 for Hawaii. During spring and summer we're in Daylight Saving Time (DST) and we set our clocks forward by 1 hour.
By comparing to Europe, we're in the "past" and right now, it's tomorrow in Japan. _________________
