SIDESTREET INN BABY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
You know it, man!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
HOOO HOOO!!! SIDESTREET INN! NOW we're getting on more local topics (not to be rude, but, ya'll's non-Hawai'i ites, please excuse us for a moment). That is a GREAT place; I like Players too. Pretty great food; all the local celebrity chefs even tend to like it. Before me and my crew's obsession with Gyukaku, we had a hard time choosing where to go if we were gonna' eat around there. I'm not a drinker and even I love Sidestreet Inn. Can get kinda' crowded . . . great place for folks pre- or post-party retirements, birthdays too.
I guess we should exchange numbers or something; I'll PM you. Hahaha. Still . . . there's the matter of me getting out of my Crazy Shirts and black nylon shorts (I have NO idea why I'm being so descriptive here 'bout my stay-home wear ) and into something more urban/weekend-like.

Sounds good, sir . . . uh . . . though you can have that, I'm . . . more of a seafood kinda' guy.
Agreed -- Sidestreet IS better; I've never had that kinda' experience at Players, though. Sorry to hear you did.
You come hang out with my crew too; I think you like.
Oh, totally wiped right now, but feeling good about it: ran a buncha errands, did some laundry, washed the car, shot some hoops, waxed the car, did more laundry...
If I didn't totally screw up yesterday , this woulda be a helluva good weekend...

Today, not so good.
Damn, just realized that I lost my sunglasses last nite.
Shoot, and that was my favorite pair too. Must be floating around somewhere in the Pacific now.
At least my wallet didn't pop out of my pocket when my drunk ass "fell" into the ocean last nite.
The sunglasses was a small price to pay for my stupidity. I'm so glad that I didn't lose my wallet.
Now I gotta do my laundry and wash all that salt and sand off of my clothes. *sigh* _________________

Aiya. Careful, man. What you did, walk up from Sidestreet toward Ala Moana, hang right at that Mexican restaurant (which is THE best on the island, yeah, ahochaude? THAT place oughta' be called "Restaurant Row") and walk to the beach parK?
What kinda' shades you got? The Man got Ray Ban Wayfarers (86 the "eh, you ol' man, comments"; Wayfarers are an American classic ).
Man . . . might be fun. You karaoke too, I hope? Not too much me . . . but I like to watch folks sing. I'm more of a dart player.

We ended up in Waikiki at the Moana surf rider (or something???) Had some drinks near the beach and then next thing I knew, I was swimming about 30 feet from shore! The second half of my night is a blank. But I do remember going home though. What I did at the beach, I've no clue. Except that I almost lost my cellphone too. (Left it behind in the sand someplace). About the shades, Ray Bans baby! Don't remember the model or type or whatever, but they served me well for the past 3 years. Damn! Karaoke? Hmm I suck. Not a singer, never will be. If I have enough shots and enough Kirin or Heiney's then making an ass out of myself won't be a problem. _________________
