made the drive out to LA-little tokyo....

Daikokuya ramen, kinokuniya, and walked around the vicinity...
the drive out was about an hour...some traffic on the 5...
coming back was about 45 min, smooth driving.

Wah~ I've always wanted to go to Little Tokyo. My friends always talk about taking me there but I have yet to actually go... Must be so much fun! It's about a four hour drive from here though. x_x

4 hour drive from norcal area? central ca?
Little Tokyo LA is ok, about a block or less of various stores, restarants..nothing too special...but better than nothing, i just wish it were bigger.

Wow how fun! I'm so jealous~ xP
I love EGL and I wear a lot of EGL-esque clothing myself. I wonder if I would get weird looks if I wore that kind of stuff in Japan but not in Harajuku? o_o;

yeah...Tokyo can be expensive....but also affordable...just have to plan out the trip well and know that you are going to spend $$$$ when you go...but it's fun and worth it.
i've been there two different times, and hope to go again next year again.
