How can Jun get award for a Supporting Role if he has the main male cast in this drama? So it's just Makino that counts? Is it because it's a manga and the main character is the girl??
I'm watching both HYD and NwP, and I'm liking both. Make the weekends great =) I'll be sad when the dramas end though.... In the beginning I was more excited over HYD, because I really wanted to see Jun acting the main role here. I think the girl that plays Makino does very well too... I still think that this drama is one of the best I've watched, but NwP really really is getting better for each episode (ouch...don't throw tomatoes at me....!) . Maybe I like it more because I'm more of a Kame-fan than a Jun-fan, but also because I already know the storyline in HYD. I don't know what to expect of NwP, so things are getting more interesting there.... Plus they are dealing with deep subjects, make you really have thoughts about life...
But I'm really enjoying HYD. Funny and entertaining

Okay, here's a candy instead of a tomato you said your true opinion....so for that you get a hug from me!!! ...okay....I really love HYD coz I'm always very excited what they will make of the next ep...surely it isn't excactly like the Manga...so it's also quite exciting!!! Especially I'm looking always forward to see Jun's new wardrobe!!! that's really exciting!! And i always expect so much....weird!! still hope they will show a scene were he has nothing on his pretty body (talking about the upper part) that would be pretty exciting...mmmh in the manga he has some scene without a T-shirt, ne!! Please put this into the drama!!!!!!
omg i wrote a very very long complain about jun not getting nominated for leading actor... but i guess it my computer didn't load properly... but im still so mad!!! how can that be?!?!?! aiyaaa... but jun-fans we gotta live with it!!! we all know in our hearts how good jun's acting it... and i think thats all that matters!!! if mao get nominated for leading actress i hope she wins then!! and show that hyd is a great drama!!!

i have to agree with you, in the beginning, HYD seemed very new and interesting, maybe it was due to the sound effects, the camera angle shots and they way they presented it. I still do enjoy this one a lot. Makino is a cute girl, a little hot too, and does a good job as the lead characters. I agree, Nobuta is something that has attracted me more and wanted to see it and intrigued by the story line more. Maybe it is the depth of the characters. It maybe be a simple highschool story background, but i enjoy the friendship that these three main characters share.
But i am looking forward to the next few final eps of HYD to see how it all turns out.

I've missed you too, fy! It's been really hectic for me lately. I'm basically working two full-time jobs at the moment plus attempting to study for the finals of my correspondence course. I made it onto mirc over the weekend but I guess I missed you. Well, my exam is over after this week so hopefully I'll be able to get on mirc more and catch up with all of you guys!

I think I understand what you all are saying about HYD and ratings, but it's just how competition works. It happens all the time on television, not just in Japan. It's the nature of the business.
As for Jun getting Supporting Role nominee is purely unfair. Obviously they're not paying enough attention to the characters' roles in HYD, and although it's kind of confusing in the beginning with figuring out who the male lead is with the Tsukasa/Makino/Rui triangle, it's obvious that most of the story REVOLVES around the relationship between Tsukasa and Makino.
But I've never watched Nobuta before so I can't squeal rampage against the ratings. ^^;
How are you guys able to watch all these dramas? I'm only able to watch HYD via BT.. do you guys have satellite or is there a Japanese/International broadcast on TV?

Morning broadcasts? I live in Southern California and there are two international channels and one has morning boardcasts too. I think the stations are KXLA and KSCI. Not sure. ^^
...HUWAT?! jun in the best supporting role category?!?! NO WAY! how's that?! without dyomji, HYD wouldnt have a story at all!! jun's role in HYD is one of the crucial roles!! NO FAIR!
As for the ratings, darn! i just wish they'll also count the viewership of overseas fans! awwww..poor jun! he did well in HYD, why not give him what's due to him! he deserves to be nominated in the best actor category.

MUCH MUCH faster. You can get and store an entire series in your inbox. And then downloading them takes maybe... 10 min to an hour max, depending on how busy it is.
It's very very simple to use (it has to be if I can manage it). Basically, you go to streamload.com and then set up an account. The way you get files is either by uploading them from your computer or having people send them to your account via email. There is no size restriction on emails or storage, so you can get 5 different complete series in one email. The only thing is that you have to download each episode individually.
Each month you pay (YES PAY) for a certain amount of downloads ranging from 1GB to 40GB typically (you can may for more than that if you want I think, but the more you want the more expensive it is.
