i think that what dom means is that the woman he likes is would be of a certain class that they would both admire. i think. thus he believes that rui would be interested in too.

OMG!!! Finally finished downloading Episode 4 and Jun is so kawaii!! Had to watch it three times to really understand what was going on. Thanks, Fybabe for your translations as well as my Japanese dictionary....
The top five moments of the show IMO (in no particular order)

5) When Doumyouji hugs Tsukushi and says that he was afraid that she got into an accident....
4) When he tries to kiss her that morning..
3) When he tell Soujiro that he has no intention of hurting Tsukushi...
2) At the restaurant, when Doumyouji tells her that if he likes a girl, he is also hoping that she will like him back (That serious look that he gave her when he told her that was just....... )
1) The part when they showed him fixing the jigsaw with the voice over that he is a really lonely person, starving for someone to love him.... aw.... (melt melt)
Seems like next week the story takes a leap forward over the manga, they did not show the part where she took part in the beauty contest. Instead, they leap to the part where Akira is selling his kisses with the dangos
By the way, I loved Soujiro's house with the tatami mats and he looked really good in his kimono.....
I think just having 9 episodes to tell the whole story is not doing justice to the actual manga's storyline... I wish they could stretch it to the normal 11 episodes.

jun and his puppy dog eyes gets me everytime...him dripping wet and then goes hug makino...aaaawwww...so sweet...
the lift scene...absolutely hilarious....and so so so sweet when they end up sharing the jacket.... and the kiss...OMG...why did they pause it? was it maybe they didnt kiss? EDITs...i was right she ran away hahaha....
I love domyoji's dorky side and jun...my heart melts when he acts dorky...hahahaha...
but the best scene...was the photos at the end and domyoji is really upset after seeing it and he has that tear in his eye...Jun i love ur acting...but the down side was that awful purple jacket... sack the stylist ...he looked great in the suit and skinny tie but...the purple jacket...oooh it was so unflattering...hahaha...

sakaruko is a bitch...playing goody two shoes...and y she didnt wanna let makino see the photo album...because she was ugly...yes that gal has had plastic sugery...she use to fancy domyoji in elementary school and still does...but before when she confessed her love (or someone told domyoji she liked him)...domyoji's reaction was she ugly...blah blah blah...so yeah shes twisted...and it was showing bit by bit in the drama...yah thomas was set up by her...domyoji comes to his senses when he gets drugged by her...so he does believe in makino....and runs to save her...altho he did desert her....
cant wait to see that acted...next eppy...ah one weeks time!!!

I just looked over the scanlations I have of the manga so looked up exactly what happened and I think it will kinda spoil ep 5 judging from the previews, but since people asked I put up a detailed summary of what that is all about.

In the manga, Makino gets REALLY violently beaten for her "betrayal", when Domyoji tries to intercede Sakurako throws the picture in his face and lik ein the drama he kinda just freezes. Then Makino starts yelling at him becuase out of everyone she thought that HE'D believe her, then she yells for everyone who was beating her up (They were dragging her behind a car at one point!) to keep going, cuz if he didn't believe her then it didn't matter anymore.
Meanwhile, Domyoji goes off to kinda, absord what he's seen and just kinda leans against the wall in a state of shock. Sakurako plays acts innocent and kind, and suggests that they leave the school- and Tsukishi behind. They end up having drinks with F2, and Donyoji tells them nothing and just keeps drinking and drinking. The f2 have a convo by themselves in which they both realize that they've slept with Sakurako- who claimed to be a virgin both times. Just as they realize that the girl is a liar and they've been had, Domyoji passes out drunk. Akira is about to call his driver to take them home when Sakurako offers to do it instead since she feels like she should compensate him for everything. She ends up taking him to a hotel and thus trying to seduce him.
So she realy didn't drug him persay, but she DID take advantage of the state his was in.
I think that he pretty much was hesitant in his actions just because it HURTS to see the person you love with someone else, especially in such an intimate context. And in the manga it was Tsukishi's speech about how HE should believe and no one else's opinion mattered. And like sashimi said, he knows she's not a play girl. So he figures things out..eventually. I mean it kinda takes him a while. He's still Domyoji after all

im extremely to hear that tsukasa believes makino at the end if rui was the one to save makino i would have cry my ass off... tsukasa better improve his romantic skills. before makino goes running back to rui.... RUI MUST STAY IN FRANCE FOREVER & EVER
can't believe sakurako is such a sl*t... b/c from what i read so far... she slept with f2 before!?!?!!? wow... and now the whole yearbook thing and she was ugly before all made sense... i just wish sakurako doesn't even kiss tsukasa in episode 5. i would be so mad if she did %$&@#$%
haha did u guys notice that the scene when makino and following tsukasa after he waited for her... and it stops rainning. everyone was closing the umbrella... so unreal and when it was raining, the sun was out~ and i loved the part in the morning. and the workers are telling them to do what they did in a hotel hahaha... so cute... i love everything bout this episode!!!

Sakurako, in mg and here in hyd, she's the girl who took the pictures of makino and thomas right? In the manga its different right? It wasn't makino's friend who did those stuff to her but another girl... Sakurako I don't make sense >_< I'm just confused caused in MG it was Makino's friend who did it to her but I can't really remember precisely if it was her friend who also did that to her in the manga

in the manga it was Sakurako was the one who made thomas "sleep" with makino, and took the pictures. thomas says that to makino. so she is mad at sakurako but the the whole thing about her surgery comes out and makino helps her after that they become "real" friends even though sakurako says to makino that she still likes tsukasa and the are love rivals.
