i jsut thought jun was so manly when he said "makino, close your eyes" and he let the guys beat him up so that sakurako won't hurt makino. ahhhhh sakurako scares me so much with her weird teeth. and the one thing i don't get is why akira would bother picking up a handkerchief? he's a rich playboy right? i don't think he'd pick things up off the ground so easily. but i guess they needed it to move the plot along and such.
only 6 more days till the 6th episode now.

Akira thought that the handkerchief belonged to Makino... And he being the nice gentleman wanted to return it to his lady..
That scene with Akira and the Okami san was adorable.....haha

gasp!! As much as episode 4 was cute, episode 5 was heartwrenching!! I really felt sorry for poor Tsukasa when he got hit by the thugs hired by Sakurako... and him telling Makino to shut her eyes cos he didn't want her to see him getting hit... This is the gentle side of Doumyouji... but I think the scene where he comes back to resucue Tsukushi could be more dramatic like in the manga where he beat up all the people bullying her.
And his mother - what a heartless woman - she only found out that her son was in hospital a week after he got beaten up and even then didn't even bother to find out how he was...no wonder poor Doumyouji feels so lonely.
Also Kudos to jun for being about to show Doumyouji's expressions clearly. I'm really happy that Tsubaki will come back in the next episode.

parts of the beating up, tho i didnt understand the part where he told her to close her eyes, OMG so freaking sweet... and the protect part i thought it was something like that but didnt know for sure..... and when he called her ugly as a child, haha i got that! but dang... thats just... crazy. that sakurako girl is really really scary. and if she's so defensive about the yearbook you'd think it wouldn't just be sitting next to her bed. but i guess if she's gonna go and scratch the living daylights out of it and such then maybe it should be close on hand. gawddd she is soooo creeeeepy!!!
and omg when he said i love you... omggg i died... and its soo cute how he's always clutching that scarf.. and he had it like all dry cleaned for her! !!!! gahhh domyoji....
i also wish they had that fight scene where he rescued her but i guess they had to consolidate all of this into one... hehe. but it wouldve been cute... hehe. he's always the one getting beaten up... her face never gets dirty... lol

i agree. the chemistry is perfect! i think jun, the person that plays tsukasa, has had great chemistrry with all his co-stars so far, well maybe except with suzuki anne in kindaichi but it wasn't like itw as bad.

haihai!!! I think Jun's hair is naturally wavy.. It's not that weird for an Asian to have curly hair.. My dad has curly hair. hehehehe
In Gokusen, I think, he had his hair relaxed, hence the straight, sometimes Farrah Fawcett-ish feathered hair.. :-)

It's a must watch. Only in this ep did I want Makino to end up with Doumyouji so bad.. but of course.. the ending brings a twist.. who would've thought hearing one word would make me shriek so bad!! hehehehehe..
sigh. school is so stressed i need something to cheer me up =) and domyouji's acting does such a great job
