Yes I did, still looks pretty awesome!! Actually, I was checking the pictures for teachers from that "other " group, but I didn't see anybody with horns and a tail.

typically, we in LA, eat on tables... sometimes when we're in the mood we'll have a picnic and eat on blankets spread out in a park somewhere....

I did, thanks! We didn't get tickets to Xi'an though, unfortunately... At least we got to see Shanghai. I read your blog earlier today and I recognised everything, it was almost like being there again! Wonderful!

Btw we stayed at Zhongann Hotel too, but the one just next to Beijing Railway Station. We had the same problems with the toilet ...

Well... the first time we had to call them 3 times before they came to fix it, that was the first day so it wasn't a very good first impression. Anyway, we decided to figure the toilet out ourselves as we didn't want to have to call them 3 times every time we had to go to the toilet. Eventually we discovered the trick and managed to fix it ourselves...everytime... I am otherwise pleased with the hotel..
