A total fluke to be honest. I like the inadvertent inclusion of the London Underground sign.

Sometimes those are the best. I actually won a photographic award on a random shot... It just goes to show - take lots and lots of pictures: some will surely turn out interesting. |
Haha. Nice. In my case, it's the definition of "dumb luck."

I've been all over the wold but never out of my own Province. It's pathetic. I've never explored Canada. I've been to more states than provinces, more continents than provinces. _________________

That's not that unusual, ne?
Most people always seem to visit everywhere else except their own backyard... Familiarity breeds contempt?

I don't think "familiarity breeds contempt" applies here at all. The reason I haven't travelled around Canada is because I LIVE here, so I'm under the assumption that I'll have loads of time later to travel west. Whereas, for example with China, it was more like "wow, once in a lifetime opportunity!"
The same works for tourist attractions, I think. People who visit Canada (TO) will always go see the CN Tower, whereas most of us who live here haven't been up it once. I myself didn't visit the tower until a few years ago. _________________

Yeah, that's what I really meant... It's like "I can visit these places anytime," as opposed to places like China, Japan, etc...

True. The last time I was at Disneyland, I was 11. And I wasn't even living here then, we came out to visit my Aunt.

Yup! Mind you, I hope my visit to Japan isn't just a one-time opportunity.

I think I was around that age when I visited Disneyland.
Wait, now I'm confused. In Orlando, they have Disneyland. That's the one I went to. How many Disneylands exist?! Or is there a Disneyworld...? _________________

The one in Orlando is Disney World, with the Magic Kingdom, Epcot, Animal Kingdom, and the Hollywood Studios.
I think I have the list of parks:
Disneyland Resort (Disneyland and California Adventure) in Anaheim
Paris Disneyland, formerly Euro Disney
Tokyo Disney Resort (Tokyo Disneyland and Disney Sea)
Hong Kong Disneyland

I see! So is Disney World the original, then? Does Mickey Mouse not frequent the others? _________________

Disneyland out here came first and then Disney World was next. But Mickey gets around to all of them, kind of like Santa Claus, he's everywhere.

Yeah, I haven't been to Disneyland in over a dozen years at least... And I've never been to Magic Mountain.

It was beautiful. And charming. And the beaches were gorgeous.
Did you read all of the books. I reread them all not too long ago. Timeless. _________________

I loved Singapore! I didn't want to leave - it was the only leg of my trip where I was travelling on my own but it such an easy place to get around. Great food too! And I got to meet my colleagues in our Singaporean office - they took me out drinking on my last evening. I boarded my midnight flight completely drunk - I don't recommend it but I slept about 8 hours of my 12h flight to Frankfurt.
