I don't know but it sounds like the test caused you more stress. Maybe one way to avoid stress is for you not to take stress tests...?

I was reading an article and came across the word "avex" and I cannot find it in the English dictionary.

Can someone please tell me... What does "avex" mean?

its the name of the record company that signs jpop stars. kinda like geffen, death row, etc. a user here called ushiroyubi (sp?) would know a LOT more about that...

could it be a missprint? was it written by a french person? (AVEC (the c is right next to the x) means "with" in french...) you may have to provide more detail than just that phrase...

that is all I remember from the article and the entire article was in English.

i think you may be right, it most likely may be a misprint. ahhhhhhhhh... then in must mean "with"

i was able to find the article and the sentence says "he favors roles as a salaryman, avec a wife and children."

the writer is a japanese writer and he wrote the article in English.
but i still couldn't find the word "avec" in any English paper dictionaries nor online dictionaries.
