I'm going to get my drink on in about 4 hours or so. Drunk
On tonights menu, I have Asahi Beer, Hennesy, and Iichiko Shochu. The only problem is figuring out which one to start off with.

I've always heard it as "Beer before liquor, you can't get any sicker and Liquor before beer, you're in the clear"

I used to abide by that rule a long time ago. But now, it doesn't really apply to me anymore. Beaten Beaten Beaten

Yeah! Beer before liquor ever sicker, liquor before beer you're in the clear....

Because unlike all other foods which get absorbed thru your small intestine, about 20% (I think) of alcohol gets absorbed straight thru your stomach lining...and the carbonation from the beer accelerates the absorbtion rate of the alcohol so drinking beer first f*cks you up even more (rapidly)

Golden Week is almost finished, so I'll take the hang over in stride and show up to work tomorrow reeking of alcohol and looking all sh*t faced. Beaten
It's Boy's (MEN'S) Day today so I'm going to take my alcohol like a man!

*brain fart and ranting* I can't stand it when people get all wasted the night before and call in sick the next day. They shouldn't drink in the first place. It was their fault that they're hanging and they call in sick just like that?! C'mon. Grumble

It's a Japanese holiday from what I can tell, although I'm in no position to explain it beyond what The Man and others have said. Sweat

Boys' Day is also known as Miller time, or just about any Friday or Saturday when you want to get demolished after a hard week of work and bullsh*t. hehe

Japan holiday/celebration.

Getting drunk on Boy's Day isn't a "tradition", but I'm taking the liberty of justifying myself. hehe

Wine sucks. I only drink it at restaurants to look "sophisticated and intellegent". Beaten
We all know that I fall into the latter category. hehe
