Most probably the dinner scene with parents. Dad walks in, so he leaves the table, leaving his rich food behind.

naah.....I'm referring to the point where he was eating dinner or so and his parents came in and he up and left......there was still food on his plate.

reminds me of all those time he up and left the Ramen Shop in Attention Please.

I was thinking if he really did that.....Poor Aya would get fat eating his bowls each time he up and leave. She won't be able to fit into her Cabin Attendent uniform anymore Beaten Shameful Cry

If he ate the Dog Shocked Shocked Shocked
I would've been surprised Beaten

Hi...I'm new here.

I've seen this movie twice and I think I'm just about all cried out now. So sad.

I have only one question...actually a question that ran through my mind throughout practically the whole movie...Did Asou really love Aya or was it just a sisterly/good friend kind of love? I kept expecting him to touch her or at least hold her hand but he never did. If he did love her more than "just friends", why didn't he show it?

Anybody have any idea?

Oh...another thing...at the very end when her parents were at her grave to honour Aya's 1 year passing, and all those people were coming up the road to pay their respects, I thought I saw Asou with a woman and a little boy...I think it was him. I wonder if he married that spoiled brat that liked him...the woman sort of looked like her.

erm.. i think you saw wrongly, that guy with the woman and little boy is so much uglier than haruto and if it's just one year after aya died, i don't think the boy is haruto's child since he looked 3 years old!

and love need not be physical Smile i don't really know how to say, but you can just feel haruto's love for aya throughout the drama, like how he was always there for her, bothered to take care of her although he knew her disease was a fatal one. I like this kind of subtle love Smile

Hi...

I guess I thought it might have been Asou at the very end because of the clothes and the hair...kind of looked like him. People do change in 10 years, however. No one stays the same from 15 to 25 (the age Aya died).

However, Asou's affection for Aya was so sweet...kind of makes me wish I had experienced that sort of love. You're right, love doesn't need to be physical but as I watched the movie, I kept thinking to myself, aww...why doesn't he hold her hand or at least put his hand on her shoulder or something...

I loved the way Aya's father interacted with Asou...absolutely hilarious. Actually, her father reminded me of the way my mother treated my husband when I first introduced him to her...she kept trying to stuff him with food and because she's very loud (she's hard of hearing in one ear) she scared the pants off of him in the beginning. rofl

I started watching this movie again and it's driving my husband batty...heh...heh...can't get enough. I love this film.
