I completed watching this drama a few days ago. No doubt the most emotional drama I have ever seen. Its heartbreaking to see how a healthy 15 year old girl starts to turn into a motionless bedpatient like she is in her 80s-90s. Such plots make me cry..
Also thumbs up to the great acting performances of all actors. The actress playing Aya is not only a very pretty girl, she also has great acting talents. I was curious wheather she would managed to keep on supporting her role when she was in her last stadium as patient. She amazingly did !

Glad you enjoyed it. Indeed it has a great cast. You should watch the special thats about to air in Japan later today I guess. I really want Aya's Diary to be translated in English. I'd buy it.
hai, anyone know any fan site subbing the special?
I think Kioku Fansubs gonna sub it. But they say it will take quite long. At least we know someone's gonna sub it so we just gotta wait.

I just watched the special. This story is still powerful enough to make me cry yet again. As heartbreaking as it is, it's still a beautiful show. _________________
so you'll know exactly what is happening without the subs
That's not the point. I mean, dialogue is a key element in making things so powerful. Even if we know what's going on, if we don't understand the language, we lose half the magic. _________________
