Don't worry guys, eps 11 isn't THAT sad. I actually laughed a couple of times because of the acting by Erika; it was just so darn cute.

I was referring to the part where she was eating and she started choking when Ako stepped in. That double double taste of the spoon was so cute...heh. But man, I could barely read ARIGATOU from her final 5 hiragana words. At first I was like "what? A, ??, GA, KO, U???" And surprisinly, the part where she has to use the board to talk isn't sad at all nor is her death scene. It's actually sadder when she realizes she can't even stand no more.

at half of this episode, when "Shiseido" and "P&G" are shown on screen I thought it's the end but................

I cant wait to finish this episode... I hope no one interupts it

looking forward to seeing Erika's fine acting, she is wonderful.

yeah... its going to be a sad one... im scared to watch it cuz i know whats gonna happen and ahhhh its painful already... not to mention that ill be home by then which means slowwwwwww internet i may never get the epi!!! agh.

i also loved ryo's hair in the last epi!

but seeing him at the end of the episode def brought on many tears... it really hit hard, those words..

PS. just discovered that maybe Asoukun here is best suitable with "crying scene." I like his crying.

I know I'm asking for the impossible, but I wished this dorama had been longer. Of course, 11 episodes was the most they can get to tell a story spanning 10 years.

It's just that they showed the whole 2 years in school for the disabled in 1 episode, and last 5 years in 10 minutes... We never even got to see those great classmates after episode 8, and Asuo didn't even show up at the grave in the end. What's up with that?

Then again, I guess I'm just another one of you suckers who didn't want this show to end



BTW the TV-rating for Ep 11 was 20.5%. 50% more than the first episode

i think so too. especially in ep 10, he really had big tears from his big brown eyes in that one scene. he looks so sexy but at the same time so sad. i have to say that ryo really has that look of near tears well done.

i also look forward to aya+haruto scenes. they are always so sweet. it seems haruto is the only one aya can tell her true (troubled, angrly, and at times depressed) feelings to. her parents only find out through her diary.

i've read a couple of spoilers for ep 11 and am pretty happy at how they'll end it. hopefully it's as good as i think it is.

after ep11, that'll mean goodbye to Haruto. i'll miss Haruto (and Ryo) the most.

i cried the most in the last episode.........from the beginning till the end....... now im having flu =x and sneezing....zzz dont know how many tissues i have used.
try watch it alone if u are shy and use noice cancelling headphone, dont let others disturb you

definately the best drama of yr 2005 for me, and its the drama that made me cried the most.......i had the feeling that this drama will win lots of awards, not sure about the one made by our forum.... jk

i have to say even though i have only watch the raw version and not really understanding japanese, i could understand the general parts of it, as aya-chan begin to break down even more, losing her speech and everything . it was very sad when she was pointing to the character board trying to communicate with ryo, and tears were coming down from their eyes, just about everything was sad about the last episode as predicted. I thought it was a touching finale as you see ryo watching aya shooting the basketball in the gym, with the light shinining in. It was a very touching, and very sad drama, but i am truly amazed by Erika's acting and talent, she was wonderful in this drama and has a bright future.

im tryin to steer clear of this thread because i dont wanna watch epi11 raw or accidentally read spoilers... and plus im really busy for awhile, even at home so ill def be waiting for subs (monday, hopefully?!)....

but omg... just thinking about it is making me teary eyed

yeah, i was.... and finally... , but it was definintely worth watching and i will watch it again when the subs come out...i will have more spoilers coming about this series and my thoughts.
