Yes. I think you just need to start the next word with the previous kana. Like: ****���� *****kya -> The next word could be ����� kyara. I think as long as it's a noun and not ending with �� it's ok.

Usually you can use �D�F �u�͂�����v haiiro; too. It literally means "ash colour", so I guess it's a bit weird too

I'll help you out for the kana. You're not suppose to use verbs btw, only nouns, because verbs always end up with "ru" and almost no words begins with that. I only have 2 in my dictionary.
