i didnt like the ending as well at first, because it reminds me so much of reality and its "stale-ness". plus i was expecting a fairytale happy ending whereby shuji-to-akira-to-nobuta were together. but really, it might be the perfect ending for the show, because nobuta wo produce indeed has original and realistic themes and events.

nobuta is alone whereas shuji/akira are together. i think that means that shuji/akira's efforts finally paid off, that nobuta is finally a popular figure in school, well-liked by her peers, and can be independent - different from her old self that was drowned in pessimistic thoughts.
but its nice to see shuji and akira together in the end. real friendships can really change a person ne.

Finished watching it recently, great drama with a unique storyline that is seldom seen in this genre of JDrama. Chemistry was great between the 3 main characters and their acting skills had improved leaps and bounds since their last drama and to sum it all it has a great OST. It sure deserves to be voted Best Drama for the last season and IMO it sure is miles better than Hana Yori Dango!!! What's more is there for me to say!!!

there r only 10 episodes.... ryt ? ya if i could have a friend like yamapi or akira ... they wont be only friends lmao !

yup! i love that part too. **SPOILER** when shuji was already unpopular. that part was cool, with the three of them in front and everybody watching what she was doing with the strings.

ahh.. i absolutely LOVED that part where yamapi was holding nobuta's hand! it was so sweet!!

i love almost all parts in this show

and the mirror in the 'haunted house' is totally unexpected.
i was wondering why everyone said "they were moved by the last part", i mean, how can a haunted house touch people's hearts?

I also love the part when the three of them plus Aoi dreamed the same dream and when Aoi (in the dream) said, "Because I want to be remembered, even if its only the bad memories."
It's totally original.

**SPOILER**oOo.. i also LOVED the part where it was christmas (last episode i think) and they were talking about santa. XD... Yamapi broke the chain by wanting curry bread!! LMAO... that was sooo cute and funny!

hmmm..dont you guys think that shuji and nobuta had the most intimate relationship though? especially in episode 10, where hes talking to her in that christmas light lit room.. He says "If I were to ever love someone in the future, I would think of you." Anyone think anything of that scene? the ending was atypical with friendship coming out on top, but do you guys think shuji and nobuta will get together later on based on that scene and all the other chemistry parts before?

OMG YES THAT CURRY BREAD SCENE WAS TOO CUTEEEE I was kinda expecting him to follow the chain and say he wished to give his wish to Nobuta, then all of a sudden... "karee-pan" OMGGG *glomps Akira* as for shuji and nobuta having the most intimate relationship in the show, in my opinion it is not really so. i think the strongest friendship is bonded between the three of them. like, shuji wouldnt end up with nobuta in the end and akira wouldnt end up with her too. they would just end up together. but if you must pair up two of them, shuji has to be with akira. remember what akira said when he and shuji met up again in their new school? "nobuta asked me to be here with you." if akira's love/friendship for nobuta is stronger than his love/friendship for shuji, he would never have left nobuta. and if shuji & nobuta are meant to be, nobuta will be the one who followed shuji. im not saying shuji & akira's relationship is stronger, i think their relationship are equally strong, just that if you must pair up two of them, shuji & akira are inseparable.
