Uhmm.....singit ko lang, nagcha-channel surfing ako kagabi when I came across QTV-11 at nagkataon na commercial break, tapos biglang pinalabas yung cm ng Good Luck at sa July 24 daw ito ipapalabas dun. Damn, I guess QTV-11 nalang ang pagasa ng mga jdoramas dito sa Pinas.

I understand how you feel. If all they care about is the ratings then sana nga sa QTV-11 nalang nila pinalabas lahat ng mga jdoramas, knowing that GMA-7 is in a tight competition with ABS-CBN and is very conscious about ratings. At least sa QTV, they can show jdoramas freely without having to worry about the ratings dahil medyo hindi naman siya nasa mainstream scene.

I heard they're (GMA) gonna start showing all their Asianovelas on QTV-11 and leave GMA with the "original" filipino shows. I don't know if thats a good thing or a bad thing.. Baka mamaya they wouldn't care about the ratings at all that they wouldn't care much about the editing/dubbing and leave us with crappy doramas:bleh: . I wonder if they would be better off shown with subtitles.. tamad kasi mga taong magbasa eh.

that's the most logical explanation na fair to dorama fans like us. sige na. ok na na sa qtv ipalabas ang doramas. dun na lang tayo. hahaha!! kwento natin to!! haha

oh-my-freakin-god-hotness jinjin and yamapi have been bestfriends for years, with yamapi sleeping and spending his christmas and whatevers kina jinjin. i love their friendship. it's so real, you know? along with another oh-my-freakin-god-hotness shirota yu. i think classmate ata ni yamapi si yu nung jr high or whatever. kasi di ba mas matanda si jinjin kesa sa kanila. although in some interviews, ryo has always said he's friends with yamapi, also since they were little. kasi i remember reading chibi ryo saying the best thing in tokyo is yamapi. haha. not sure if they're best friends though. and ryo also spends a lot of time with jinjin, like eating out together, etc.

yes, he played tezuka (my favorite!!!) sa tenimyu musicals, tapos sa pot live action movie. gwapo niya no? i think he has spanish blood or whatever.

Well, showing jdoramas here is a risk for GMA's part.....kapag nag-click then go, kapag hindi eh may fallback naman (which is QTV-11). Medyo masakit sa pandinig (o sa paningin) but we have to accept the fact na hindi talaga nag-click sa mga ibang Pinoy ang jdorama. At least underground pa rin ngayon ang jdoramas dito sa Pinas, diba?

I think i have an explanation why so many idols are wanting to have a vacation in Hawaii. The beauty of the beaches are only a second consideration. The primary reason would probably be is that they don't want to be alienated in a different culture. There is quite a big Japanese community in Hawaii. In fact they have a japanese channel there in local tv.
You may ask why there are many Japanese in hawai. There was once a migration wave from Japan to Hawai and some of the southern American places and brazil. These people were like the new pioneers/pilgrims assisted by the American govt at the time to "tame" and improve the place.

In line with that there are also so many kapampangan in Hawaii. Hehehe.. the story for that is DOLE had a plantation in the Philippines where the kampangpangas were. When America acquired the Hawaii islands, DOLE admin transferred to Hawaii. They decided to bring with them all their Kapampangan workers for free or very small fees. That is why there are so many kapampangan in Hawaii but not as culturally strong as the Japanese there.

In connection with my anecdotes, when you may go to tokyo and some nihonjin would ask you, "doko kara kita?/ kimashita ka" And you would answer ,"Firipin desu." They would probably react in three ways. They would either say banana, pineapple/dole or turn their back from you. Hehehe... Most japanese are familiar with the kapangpangan in Hawaii because those two communities are very friendly with each other

Well I think it''s ok to televise jdoramas na lang sa Qtv. Kung gagawin nila yun pwede palitan narin nila yung name ng chanel like Jtv. Yapos puro jdo's or japanesse stuff yung papalabas nila dun (I wish...).

I agree na mas maganda ang beaches natin dito sa Pinas. I've been to hawaii and it's like there's nothing really special about the place. It's more like there's just soo much publisity of the place that it just became famous and well visited.
And I would surely faint if I saw YamaPi, Oguri Shun, Arashi, or any of those other bishounens wlaking in the sandy beaches of Bora or any place dito sa Pinas.I love the idea of BISHOUNEN ISLANDS a lot!!

Your RIGHT!!! but did you know that Japan is third of the most numbered tourist here in the Philippines ayon sa DOT 1st is Korea, 2nd is US, then 3rd is Japan....the rest are either coming from China, Taiwan or Singapore...So meaning dumadami na rin ang Nihonjins d2 sa Pinas!!!

plus they are taking up surfing as a hobby. si takuya alam ko madalas din sa hawaii because he surfs a lot.
definitely may laban ang beaches natin PERO ang facilities natin, swerte ka na kung 3 star ang hotels near the beach. syempre these stars have money to spend kaya kung minsan din lang sila mag bakasyon itotodo na nila. and hindi naman kasing ganda ng surfing spots natin compared to hawaii.

buti pa mga koreans naadik na sa boracay.

i think marami na rin ilokano in hawaii more than capampangans...

his mom is spanish, he lived in spain til he was 2 (tagal noh..haha). they all graduated from the same school (jin, pi and yu), same batch. swerte nung batch na yun..haaay...

i guess so... it's true really. before i liked jdos, i was annoyed with it. i complained that it was too short, no time to develop stories and characters, too weird themes etc..but then i grew to love it and now there are very few korean and taiwanese titles that i appreciate. anywa, i think there must be a certain level of understanding of jdos before acceptance. mahirap pang i-achieve yun with the masa. parang yung isang kilala ko, she's really "masa" and she is reluctant about jdos. so i think, most people like her feel the same.

i'll be selfish na rin. ~sigh~ sige, atin na lang ang jdo kung ayaw nila!

Yeah, they do that stuff (channels that are exclusive for Japanese shows) in Taiwan. Yung JetTV and Videoland Japan are Taiwanese channels which only shows Japanese dramas, movies and some variety and talk shows, and naka-subtitle ng simplified chinese yung mga yun.

But I think doing that thing is close to impossible dito since may mga cable companies naman kasi dito.

Exactly! GMA-7 did their part on bringing jdoramas in local tv, unfortunately hindi naging maganda ang acceptance ng mga nakararami. Sabi nga nila, kung ayaw niyo eh di wag!
