teka r u one of those athletic delegates ng RP team???
Nope, but I'm one of those cheerers in the baseball and taekwondo event. My uncle was part of the baseball team and one of the taekwondo jins is my brother's friend.
The Philippines won another gold medal, this time from boxing!

Anyway, I hope this is the start of something good for the RP team, though I really doubt that we will be able to reach the goal (atleast 5 gold medals according to POC) for this year's Asian Games.
Welcome nga pala sa mga newbies!
just wondering. what did u do in qatar? on a vacation?

I'm guessing that's where the Asian Games were held.
Sana mag-gold tayo sa basketball..

Well, kind of, but our real purpose of going there is to support our athletes, especially sa taekwondo at baseball. You really can't see a lot in that place, mas maganda kung sa UAE nalang ginawa yung Asian Games.

Hehe well, SEA games (Southeast Asian) naman yung ginawa dito last year kaya may laban naman tayo kahit papaano. Malaysia lang ang masasabing threat sa atin. Iba kasi dito sa Asian games especially with the overwhelming presence of China and Japan.

Guess you still haven't heard the news. Naka-ban ang Pinas sa international basketball scene dahil sa pagkaka-abolish ng BAP (Basketball Association of the Philippines), which is the only organization that represents the Philippines in FIBA (nakalimutan ko meaning ng acronym na ito ). _________________

EHHH.. kala ko sa FIBA (yung tournament) lang tayo nadisqualify, sa LAHAT na pala. that's really sad, we really used to focus on basketball back in the days.. lol. Ngayon puro boxing na. Pero atleast nakaka-gold tayo _________________

Yup, I heard that too...totoo nga ba?
And for more nakakahiyang Pinoi stories.....
My friend and I were watchign the news last Tuesday night....tpos biglang meh balitang "Isang DH na Pinoy sa HongKong, nahuli ng among nagnanakaw!" Sa mga hindi familiar sa Canto-pop, Jackie Cheung is an actor/singer (aren't they all?) who sang that duet with Regine Velsaquez back in the 90s. He was also in the usper astig movie JiangHu with Andy Lau, Edison Chen and Shawn Yue.
But on the other hand, of course nakakahiya naman yun. Sobrang bad shot na tau sa mga HK pop stars cus if you remember, abt two years ago, si Edison Chen naman sinapak ng dalawang Pinoi High Skul kids sa Central. Apparently, they were uber rich Pinoy kids in HK studying at HK IS at napagtripan ata c Edi cus he also studied there. Eh malas nila real life action star tong si Edi at hinabol silang dalawa across Central at dinrag sa prisinto. Nakipagayos lang yung parents nung mga bata kay Edi kaya hindi cia nag-press ng charges (so onbviously they really were from rich Filipino families). _________________

Well, FIBA or Fédération Internationale de Basketball Amateur (yes, it's French) is the official international basketball organization, at halos lahat ng international tournaments are under their supervision. With that said, we can say na banned tayo sa lahat ng international basketball games. Medyo ok na rin siguro ito, basketball won't give us medals anyway with powerhouse China and the emerging South Korea and other Middle East countries beating the hell out of our PBA-powered (yes, pro players pa natin ang mga ito) RP team.
About dun sa DH na ang amo ay si Jackie Cheung, I agree with lucy_monostone, sa tingin ko pwede naman na hindi umabot sa court at napagusapan nalang nila yung naging problema. Fine, nagkasala yung Pinay, but it's not like he lost jewelries or money, parang ang babaw para umabot pa sa ganyan. Gusto lang yata talaga ipahiya yung DH. _________________

Ohmy!!! i love his blog!!! tagal na namin iniistalk yan hehe. Although mas maligalig sa pagstalk yung friend kong edi-fanatic tlg. It's so funny how he mocks the paparazzi. I remember one time, he posted a pic that he took of the paparazzi taking a "stolen" shot of him. Tpos pinaparinggan nia yung mga tabloid na kumukuha ng pics from his blog, tapos ipapublish sa mga tabloid nila as paparazzi shot tpos ni hindi man lang daw cia icredit since he took those photos, lol!
Vivian Hsu has a very cute blog din where she posts funny pics of hers. Nakakaaliw
Abt the DH...i guess super paranoid lang din yung mga HK stars esp. after the Gillian Cheung paparazzi issue....
Ei....rexy, wazzup? kung ano man yan, i'm sure konting fighto-oh lang at kaya mo yan *hugs* ganbarimasu! _________________

Hehe langya talaga yung mga yun, mga mapagsamantala! If I know sila rin ang nagsimula magdistribute ng mga fake 5 pesos sa pamamagitan ng pagsukli sa mga pasahero.
The Philippines finished 18th out of 45 countries in the recently concluded Asian Games in Doha, Qatar. We have 4 golds, 6 silvers and 9 bronze medals. Not bad if I may say so, but could have done better if we have participated in more events. *where on earth is the salute emoticon? *
Mabuhay ang Pilipinas! _________________
