actually, i think i got the things mixed up. the tv sets' "dual audio" works for specific tv programs such as foreign (american) shows that they dub in japanese over there. at the start of the show, there is a printed notice flashed on screen to inform the audience that they can use "dual audio." so the audience had the choice to view them in original english language audio, or in the japanese dubbed audio. kaya, sa japan lang siya mag-wo-work.
and yeah, old and even not-so-old tv sets are often just left outside for the garbage trucks to pick them up. but only on certain days and you have to notify the sanitation crew about it because you have to pay a certain amount for disposal of electronic stuff.
actually, pwede dito sa atin most of the TVs. basta stereo ang speaker ng tv (not mono) pwede yun. What the TV stations do is that they broadcast the show in 2 channels, usually mixed channels na ang bino broadcast so we hear the same audio sa left at sa right (pag stereo kasi may choice ka na left or right speaker lang). they broadcast the programs with different audio (channel 1 and channel 2).
pwede nga yun..kaya lang walang subs.
i watched back to the future in both japanese and english audio for fun. all i got was a headache, naconfuse ako haha
pati car, when they leave it somewhere and there's no license plate, it's as good as trash. eh sa sobrang mahal magpa rehistro, mas praktikal bumili ng 2nd hand na may papeles kesa kunin yung abandoned car for free. labo nila noh!
san ka nagstay dun?

actually, this thread is more like the hub for Filipinos in JDorama.com rather than concentrating on just the thread's topic. so..going off-topic is still on topic... _________________

Yeah, it turned out to be a "tambayan" for Pinoys in this forum . So I guess it's ok if we talk about general things . _________________

Mabuti naman ako. When I go back to the PI I'm gonna be visiting again. The last time I was there I was thinking about living there again, at least for like six months. Maybe sometime in the future, I can stay that long, or maybe even longer.

mahirap ba mag qualify for monbusho? interested kasi ako kaya lang parang napakaraming requirements (e.g. 16 yrs na nag aaral). and medyo limited and choices sa "courses". parang pag pasok mo eh non diploma ka muna...
how long did you stay there? i stayed in chiba (sa mga bukirin... ) for a brief period lang naman.

why dont we make this an "official pinoy thread" yan nalang ang kulang
Hmmm.....sounds good. But that will make this thread to be moved in the general discussion section and might be piled up with those numerous active threads . At least dito lagi siyang nasa tabi ng sticky topics .

ok lang naman pag nasa general discussion tayo, parang worldwide na rin tayo lol pero ok na rin dito, medjo secluded lang, walang gulo
btw sino nga palang nanonood ng bagong american idol ngayon? be sure to support our fellow filipino Sway Penala medjo may pagkagulo ngayon ang issues nia, dahil he has a record label with his group 6th day, pero diba according to idolonfox.com, dapat you're not in ties with any record managements whatsoever _________________
