^^ AKO!!! haahahahaha todo vote ako kay sway.. he was actually a part of Drop N Harmony.. the same guys na kumanta ng "Never No Never" na sumikat sa pinas about 3 years ago.. tas he's also friends with the bandmembers from Kai (who sang Say You'll Stay)
Funny factoid: his family is actually from Fresno. My mom's friends' with his mom.. talk about that short degree of separation...
Pero bilib ako sa performance niya ng Reasons ng EWF.. astiggggg...

yeh he did, i was one of the street team of dnh back in 97 hehe their cd was pretty good, too bad they disbanded and formed out with 2 members kai, and 1 from innerlude sayang talaga .. they used to perform a lot @ FPAC, does that ring a bell dochira? fpac is always held here in so.cali, or if anyone watches the Apollo late at night, they performed there about 2 yrs. ago, i think they lost heheh
hahah yeh ive always hated simon, he never gives us asians a chance lol, so it seems. _________________

wow!! this really is turning into an "anything pinoy" thread. haha. cool.
anyway, di ako makarelate sa american idol. nakakahiya. haha. di sila nanonood nun dito sa dorm. may streaming ba yun? so that i'll just watch through internet. i wanna see this sway guy. so what's gonna happen regarding him having a label? i mean, don't they screen the contestants first?
anyway, nagkakagulo dito kahapon a. edsa thing. we were cooped up in the lab the whole day, so the class had no idea what was going on. then suddenly, text messages from parents started coming in, asking how we were doing and telling us to go home. pretty scary. i thought we were going into another martial law. _________________

nabasa ko raw na they dont exactly check the person's background and he said that he didnt really have a current recording thats why he stays. but i dont care, hes doing really good in his performance not bec. hes pinoy.. im not biased, halos tumaas yung balahibo ko when he sang The Reason _________________

Yeah, medyo magulo nga dito sa Pinas lately. The president pulled-off the Martial Law and just declared a state of emergency (as if there is a big difference between the 2 ). Seems like peace is restored for a while, although the government forces used iron fists to attain this peace. They quashed the military coup plotters, dispersed the rallying activists, and did some warrantless arrest on people behind this activities. _________________

when we were watching sway's performance (me and my officemates), we were like...oooh tricky song, it can make or break him. it wasn't anything out of the ordinary...until....you know what he did. then we started laughing kasi he said his mom used to sing that to him to make him sleep. wahehehe galing ni mommy talo si mariah carey! he'll make it through the top 12 if 1: he performs really well and/or 2: pinoys vote for him the way they did with jasmine trias.
gokusen may not be the first jdrama to be aired here, and sadly it may be put on the afternoon drama timeslot... but i won't tell which drama..i may jinx it again.. _________________
While we're on the topic of music and "anything pinoy"... sino ba ang uso ngayon? When I was last there (last summer) I would watch Myx and I'd see stuff like Hale, Bamboo, MYMP... and I bought the Nina Live cd and Orange and Lemons.

Actually, yeah it isn't the first one. Friends, Heaven's Coins and Golden Bowl were the first jdoramas to be aired here in Philippines .

last friday's showbiz newspaper sa lrt says that karen banawa did audition too sa AI but didnt make it thru.... hmm.... was watching last friday's AI sa Star World at muntik nang maalis si Sway, buti nalang hindi siya yun naeliminated... sorry wasnt able to watch last wed/thur episode... -_-!! only the recap last friday...
was wondering anu yung posibilidad na matelecast yun rondo here, kasi diba may 2 actresses both from Beautiful Days included sa cast and the same actress na nasa Winter Sonata.... sori ha limut ko na yung name ng actress _________________

it's carol banawa..there are pictures circulating emails of her (austin auditions) i'm still checking if they're authentic.
Rondo is not doing well, in terms of ratings, so it might not be bought...but it does star Choi Ji Woo..they should consider buying/licensing the series.

i meant mainstream TV. dos o siyete. let's admit it, those jdramas, no matter how good, weren't given much attention because they were shown in QTV. _________________

Try mo yung mga singles niya like "Wag na wag mong sasabihin" and "Same Ground". Ok yung mga songs na ito .
