Have tried using BitComet for about a week already. What can I say? Its good! The memory usage is pretty low for a client, and the DL/UL speed is decent. The UI is pretty, will really recommend it. Will try to play around abit more with the settings/configs/ports for better connection Smile Any tips?

when you say 'slow' are you thalking about the app or the network? doesn't all BT clients have the same speed, depending on the ISP?

Some clients might tweak some settings to squeeze more bandwidth, but overall the download speeds should be similar.

It all depends on the number of seeders (and their upload speeds). I think the fastest time to download an entire episode (~300MB) was 10-12 minutes.

Wow that's fast. Does it refer to T1 users only or does it also apply for DSL 192 kbps?

sigh.. hello theres lots of topics regarding bt, i think most of us u can only get dramas on bt anyway, so yes we do. i think u meant you're trying to get a bt program to dl bt right? i use bittornado sometimes bec. u can change the upload/download ranges but i mostly use bitspirit bec. my dsl connection is kinda slow and its good for slow connections Beaten but a lot of people uses bitcomet too, it just depends on your judgement and try either one of those and see whats best for you.

and mirrors are secondary links, in case if the main link doesnt work, busy or down, try downloading the mirror links.

Most people use either BitComet or uTorrent. But BitComet is banned on every Grateful Dead torrent site. Think the reason has something to do with DHT and Peer Exchange but not 100% sure (never tried BitComet because of the banning).

The Azureus users are fanatic about their client.

IMO, uTorrent is the way to go.
