It's necessary. Having large sigs and/or avatars really slows loading pages, for me at times, and especially those on dialup. People need to read announcements.

...and there are some mods that have been gone AWOL for some time like eltinator, eightysix, Michi and Pemu. So more work for you.

^^ eltinator has an excuse though.. from what i heard that person underwent surgery.. rumor only.. not confirmed.. but studioto.com hasn't been moving.. so there must be some truth to it..

He's very busy at UCLA.

If I were him, I would be in stealth mode. People can be idiots sometimes and I'm sure, if he shows up, one of them would be telling him something like: "finish subbing or I'll kill ya".
