I always see this in anime, when a japanes guy see some hot chick his nose bleeds. I wonder why? Can someone explain. Sorry for the silly question.
it was explained elsewhere before on one of the threads..i forgot where....and the full explanation....
i think it has something to do with his extreme excitment from being sexually stimulated by the hot j-girl, and i am sure it is shown in japanese Manga, and i've seen it around on some j-dramas like 2nd House. The blood rushes to his head, i think causing his nose to bleed...from the excitment....does this happen in real life? I don't think so, i think it is just exaggerated, but it is so so funny.
Oasis sing for "Sugar and Spice" and presumably lots of money too
Following the lead of the Red Hot Chili Peppers, British rock band Oasis have become the latest international act to supply a theme tune for an upcoming Japanese film, specifically Nakae Isao's "Sugar and Spice" (Shuga ando Supaisu - Fumi Zekka) starring Yagira Yuya ("Nobody Knows") and Sawajiri Erika ("Shinobi").
Based on the novel by Yamada Eimi, "Sugar and Spice" is a sad story of nascent adolescent love. After graduating from high school, Shiro (Yagira) works at a gas station without any particular purpose in life. When a new part-timer by the name of Noriko (Sawajiri) comes along, he discovers emotions that he never felt before. His feelings gradually intensify, until one day he tells her how he feels for the first time. While gently embracing Noriko, Shiro realizes: "This is love." He imagines a happy future for the both of them, and thinks that everything is going well. That is, until Noriko's ex-boyfriend appears on the scene...
Director Nakae and producer Ota Toru (from Fuji Television) previously adapted the bestselling romantic novellas "Calmi Cuori Appassionati" (Reisei to Jonetsu no Aida) into a high-grossing film starring Takenouchi Yutaka and Kelly Chen. That movie prominently employed songs by Irish warbler Enya, and her CD "For Lovers" went on to swiftly shift over a million units. With Cannes Best Actor winner Yagira (who recently starred in "Shining Boy and Little Randy") and rising star Sawajiri on board for this tear-jerking love story with a potentially huge female audience, Oasis have apparently been attracted by the pungent scent of breeding yen. The film will feature three tracks taken from their 2005 album "Don't Believe the Truth" - "Let There be Love," "Lyla" and "Mucky Fingers" - as well as "Rock and Roll Star" from their 1994 breakthrough release "Definitely Maybe."
"Sugar and Spice" will be distributed by Toho, and is set to open on September 16th.

Today when I opened my e-mail I saw a email from IMDB.com is web for movies and has a forum where you can write about you favorite actors (for those who don't know) Anyway I posted this in Erika's forum:
HERE IS A WEBSITE WHERE FANS OF HER TALK ABOUT HER AND PASTE PICTURES. AND SOME LATERS NEWS: SHE IS GOING TO RELEASE A FILM WITH YUYA YAGIRA, THE JAPANESE BOY THAT WON BEST ACTOR IN THE CANNE FILM FESTIVAL. THE MOVIE IS COMING OUT ON SEPTEMBER AND IS CALL SUGAR AND SPICE. I CAN'T WAIT FOR IT, SINCE I'M A HUGE FAN OF YAGIRA.
The email that I gat from was of a guy saying this :
WHY IN THE HELL R YOU POSTING IN COMPLETE CAPS!!! IT IS ANNOYING, AND IT SEEMS YOU'RE HERE TO ONLY PROMoTE YAGIRA'S FILM 'SUGAR N SPICE' WHICH INTURN IS A BREACH OF IMDB RULES'
anyway, yeah. Yagira!!? why the hell get such a young punk to be with a mature beauty like Sawajiri!!?!! pisses me off to no end. TAKESHI KANESHIRO ANYONE!!!?!! THAT MAN IS DAMN COOL AND MATURE! Johnny Depp of Asia!! Even I'm the twice the man and looks than that Yagria kid. They should have casted me. cheers to Oasis for providing the sountrack. boo to the director for making a repulsive kissing scene between a pre puberty and a mortal goddess.
He is so annoying, I just wanted to be nice and tell people about sugar and spice. I think he is upset because he can't meet Erika. Anyway this is just to post this because I really think Erika and Yuya make a cute couple in Sugar and Spice, and anyway because coming from them, even if the ages are different, I don't care about that, the movie is going to be great.

hey laramor55
That guy on Imdb has replied to you. I think he's not out of the line though. I myself think Yagira is a tad young for the girl. (i maybe talking out of jealousy.lol) Anyways, you are NOT permitted to post in caps within the IMDB forums. It's what the admins there regard as a provoking act. That, and it's not very legible in reading. Lol, and yes, Yagira isn't quite the looker.

Thanks! I know now I can't post in caps, thanks to the adorable Ron. But at least you have manners and know how to tell people when they make a mistake, not like Ron.

Is that Aya Ueto pic you have under your sig? buh.. i recall watching her in Ayumi and Ayumi 2: Death or Love. Her 'acting' if you can call it that is bland, and she's hopeless in action scenes. There are a couple of other famous Japanese faces in the 2 manga based films, but not worth mentioning.

Sorry to break it you guys, she's already attached to someone in real life. I have the Colours 2005 DVD, a gravure video of Erika going about her daily, consisting of photo shoots, walk around the park, beaches and her favourite Chinese restaurant. (She likes Chinese food a lot apparently)
Her boyfriend is a big sized long haired guy. Too bad the video didn't have english subtitles as it was an import. Anyways, with my limited Japanese i translated that she said 'it feels great to hear 'i love you from my koibito (lover/boyfriend)'
Now where's that bottle of aspirin. I'm about to pass out from jealousy... lol
