Oh wow! One of my favorite anime series is being turned in to a drama. Well, there was a movie, but it wasn't that great. I hope they retain Takahashi Rumiko's subtle jokes and slapstick comedy that made the anime/manga so lovable.

It looks like Itou Misaki is going to play Otonashi Kyouko. I think she's a good pick for the job, plus her popularity has been up lately. Here are my picks for the other characters:

Godai Yuusaku: Hmmm, I'd go with Yamada Takayuki. Anything but those pretty boys from those boy bands.

Yotsuya: It's gotta be Abe Hiroshi. I think he'd be the perfect guy to bring out the awkwardness of Yotsuya (if you've seen or read the anime and manga, you'll know what I mean).

yeah Yamada Takayuki would be good choice but apparently they are doing a nationwide search audition for that role
