Are there any die hard Maki fans here? I got a rare Memew card that i'm looking to sell since im not into maki all that much. Anyone interested? Sorry for soliciting =)

Actress Maki Horikita will star in the upcoming film, "Koisuru Nichiyoubi ~Watashi. Koishita," directed by Ryuichi Hiroki. It is the second film based on the TV drama series "Koisuru Nichiyoubi," also known as "Love on Sunday."

Horikita will play a high school girl suffering from terminal cancer, and the story will revolve around her last love during her final three months. To prepare for the role, Horikita is undergoing a special diet designed to deplete the salt level in her body. Although unhealthy, it is a technique sometimes used by actors in order to appear ill.

The film is scheduled to open on June 9.

it comes from the Hori part of her family name.. saying Po makes it sound cute and childish.

Sounds cute. Is this official? I mean does the biz world refer to her as pori-chan? Or did you guys give her the nickname? I just saw a vid recently, and I'm pretty sure I heard the guy called her "pori", though I might be hearing things... :crazy:

i dont know how official it is cuz ive only heard Matthew call her Pori-chan when she was on Matthew's Best Hit UV.

i think that anyone with the name Horikita (or Hori in it) could be called Pori-chan.. like anyone who has the name Hikaru is sometimes called Hikki or with a name like Tsuyoshi..Tsuyopon

Actress Maki Horikita has been announced as a co-star to Rina Uchiyama in the upcoming TV Asahi drama, "Seito Shokun!" Although the two actresses belong to the same agency, this is the first time they will appear in a drama series together.
