Yea it is a young picture of her but I was just soooo happy to see her as the featured artist when I came on here yesterday I didn't care!.

For the record I don't have a problem with girls in the forum, I infact welcome the female species
I only asked if there were any girls in here because I honestly wasn't sure if was dealing with a load of fan boys drooling over Maki (like me) or girls errr....drooling over Maki (she is that good looking), as it doesn't state if your a male or female in your posts.
So I apologise if I caused offense, I didn't mean it as I consider you all my friends.....in a wierd way.

Oh and girls who have taken a fancy to Maki, well thats pretty orsum in my book!.

Yes Hana no Kimi is good from what I've seen, i'm up to episode 8 at the moment but Nobuta Wa Produce is fantastic!.
So if you haven't watched yet it jenjen, well you need it in your life!!!.

IMO, I think the description is too wordy: it looks like the text is pushing her head to the side of the picture.

I think not only maki's pretty but I do admire her acting skills.

Also how she has so many looks - she can go either cute, innocent and then surprise you by being so freaking sexy!

Wellllll, we were working on one, but things I guess you could say were moving slowly...

Yeah, it's a bit wordy and I think Hana Kimi might be too early to mention as one of her finer roles at this point.

This whole original story/manga adaption discussion is pretty interesting.
I have to admit, the only drama's I've watched have been adaptations (manga's etc) and other stories, which have then been written into a J-drama.
To be honest, I wasn't sure there were original stories going around, I assumed they were all copied from something/somewhere.
Like atskv9 said, why would companies bother making an original storyline for a J-drama when they can just copy a Manga/book and have most of the work done for them. It is lazy but it makes sense work load wise.

^^Lol, I didn't exactly say that, but that's also true. They can usually bank on a manga adaptation being popular if the manga was/is popular. Better for their pocketbooks to not take a chance at an original script that could bomb.
