I don't think there's any worst or more ridiculous 'detective' jdrama than that one out there ..

My wish is to see Maki as a detective . I've seen her as a 'killer' already, & it was cool, hehe

Thats a fair point a-nesuto I actually wasn't aware the viewer ratings were suffering.

All I can say is that I'm enjoying J-Drama's at the moment, original or copied.
Yes, maybe there are too many manga based romantic comedy J-Dramas but I like them (as long as Maki is in them......of course).
It's pretty much what I'm use to from Japan.......

If I'm not wrong, I would think Maki played a killer in one of her horror movies. Which one however, I have no clue since I haven't seen any of them.

I've watched all of Hana no Kimi now, and I enjoyed it very much

I've also watched episdoes 1 & 2 of Houkago (after school), pretty good so far......I did notice apart from the stunning Maki being it, Toda Erika who plays Uehara Mariko in Nobuta (the popular girl) stars alongside her. And I'm pretty sure the gay student who loves the head of dorm 2 in Hana No Kimi is in it but I don't know his name.

And how old is Maki in it??? she looks very young.
It's set in 2004....but was it filmed then?? To me It looks older than that.

I've watched 3 eps of Houkago so far and I'll probably be watching the last one tonight. So yeah it's only four eps. Yeah Toda Erika is damn cute in it too Yeah the guy that plays Nakao in Hana Kimi is in Houkago... his real name and his name in Houkago have escaped me for the moment though. I think Maki is probably 15 or 16 in it depending on when it was shot. She does look pretty young in it...

I've watched all of Houkago (after school) now, was alright 6/7 out of 10.
Can't really mark it too high because it isn't long enough to get properly attached to any of the characters, which is a shame because it had potential.
Your right atskv9 Toda is cute, so is the girl who plays Shino in it.
But unfortunatly for them Maki is in it, so they get blown out of the water and knocked into 2nd and 3rd place respectively.

But it was sad at the end when they were both dressed up in their Kimono's, looking super cute and saw him kissing another girl..... I never like to see a Japanese girl cry
