haha wow, i said that same exact thing while i was watching it, i thought to myself lmao this is WAY over the top, but to me thats what makes it funny for me....yea aya would probably fit this role better, to be honest im tired of maki playing the same old characters, i know she didnt play that kinda roll in hana kimi but i hated that show which is why i droped it, its not nearly as good as the manga, and she had another show, where she was playing a character similar to this, it was a cooking show, i forgot the name of it cuz it sucked and i droped it, and the other shows i'd like to try that shes in a comedy roll arent subbed yet...other than chance (two part series she was in earlier this year with kuroki meisa) this is the first time ive seen her in this kind of roll where the first episode drew me in fairly quickly. other than that i like her other more serious roles, she killed in nobuta wo produce and tokyo boy (jmovie)

I think you are talking about teppan shouju akane.. I dropped it also.. hehe.. I just don't like it.. eventhough I really like maki a lot. she didn't save the it man... and i did the same thing to innocent love but I have this feeling that I wanted to watch it adn give it another chance.. wow...

I'm just hoping that her movie with matsuken is good if not I would be very disappointed...

yeah same here... I think I prefer her to be in a serious love story or drama cos I wanna see her potential in making people cry just like in 1 liter of tears... I can't find that TV SP Chance... I'm waiting for it's subs .... Haven't watch tokyo boy cos i'm a little busy at this moment maybe next time ...

but yea that teppen shouja GARBAGE lol...ive never cried for anyshow, as a matter of fact i havent cried since i was 11 or 12....
but there are shows that i say to myself, man if i was a cried idda cried!

I totally agree with you that Sawajiri is great actress...she can really act in fact I cried a lot in 1 liter of tears. however, I think I can't like this girl cos normally I'm going crazy with the stars not only on their acting ability but also to their attitude and since she had a bad attitude.. I just can't love her unlike Maki and Aya. Although Maki is lack of some acting ability, I think she can improve that you know...

I haven't seen taiyou no uta but I guess I'll try it cos I heard gakky was there.. hehe.. and if I feel like crying.. I am not a drama fan so I don't prefer heavy drama.. I just watch those kind of thing if I'm in a mood... btw.. I'm gonna watch my boss my hero this Tuesday.. wee...
