Even though I didn't like her, I feel so bad for her. Her life was so traumatic. I hope she's at peace now.

I saw her interview last Christmas and she said she still hasn't recovered from her son's death. I think depression got to her and eventually with all the other pressures - lost her will to live and gave up. Shake Head

yup! her face was so haggard looking... so much different from the Ana Nicole Smith I used to fantasize of during the early 90's. Hey! what am I saying here? My apologies, she already passed away - may she rest in peace.

Anna Nicole Smith's autopsy is taking place today on Friday Feb 9, 2007. She was experiencing flu-like symptoms for several days before she died on Thurs Feb, 8th. Soon enough we will all know the true cause of her death. So sad!

(edited to say) I just heard on the evening news that the autopsy results may take up to 3-5 weeks.

I just heard about this!! I'm still kind of in shock right now. I loved her. They are reinvestigating her death because police cannot confirm that it's 100% suicide. They actually think she might have been murdered.

The lead vocalist of the band Boston, Brad Delp, died today at 1:20 pm. Still not sure how he died. I liked their songs More than a feeling and Amanda. I grew up listening to songs like those.

One of the all time greats is gone:
Author Kurt Vonnegut dies at 84 By CRISTIAN SALAZAR, Associated Press Writer

NEW YORK - In books such as "Slaughterhouse-Five," "Cat's Cradle," and "Hocus Pocus," Kurt Vonnegut mixed the bitter and funny with a touch of the profound.

Vonnegut, regarded by many critics as a key influence in shaping 20th-century American literature, died Wednesday at 84. He had suffered brain injuries after a recent fall at his Manhattan home, said his wife, photographer Jill Krementz.

Vonnegut's more than a dozen books, short stories, essays and plays contained elements of social commentary, science fiction and autobiography.

"He was sort of like nobody else," said fellow author Gore Vidal. "Kurt was never dull."

A self-described religious skeptic and freethinking humanist, Vonnegut used protagonists such as Billy Pilgrim and Eliot Rosewater as transparent vehicles for his points of view.

He lectured regularly, exhorting audiences to think for themselves and delighting in barbed commentary against the institutions he felt were dehumanizing people.

'Tiny Bubbles' singer Don Ho dies at 76 By JAYMES SONG, Associated Press Writer

HONOLULU - Legendary crooner

Don Ho, known for his raspberry-tinted sunglasses and catchy signature tune "Tiny Bubbles," has died, his publicist said Saturday. He was 76.

Publicist Donna Jung confirmed the singer's death, but had no details. He had suffered with heart problems for the past several years.
We always made fun of Don Ho and "Tiny Bubbles" but it's still sad
@ Eve, yeah, when I was in high school "Slaughterhouse Five" was practically required reading.
