Hi! I was wondering if anybody knows Janne Da Arc, I know them since like last year, and they are really great, is kind of soft j-rock, but they have a lot of hyper songs too!Here is some pics of them:

hi steph! I actually heard a song by JDA before. It was one of the ending themes for the anime One Piece. I am downloading one of their recent Pop Jam performances, lets hope they thrill me~ Never seen them live before...

Um, I'm not a huge fan but I have most of the songs, but I haven't listen to all of them yet Only saw two PVs of their, Black Jack and Kasumi Yukusora Senishite. They are more upbeat than most jrock bands and when I first heard them I thought, wow, yasu has a very unique voice.

I just watched the Furimukeba performance at Pop Jam. They looked like a decent band and the song is pretty nice - well at least they don't do gothic makeup and weird costumes

Lol, yeah they used to dress like that before, but they have changed a lot through the years, and their new single is kind of slow, but I like better the song that comes with the single "Destination", because is more hyper!And I'm glad I'm not the only one that recognizes them And I have their latest presentation on "Furimukeba" (Pop Jam 06.03.03), and is good, at the end Yasu is so humble saying thanks to the public, at first I thought he was hott, but now that I see him more, he's just cute, but what I really like now is his personality Well jaa!

PS: and yeap he has a unique voice, but I still like Hyde's voice way better

Bleah, I wouldn't know about that - I'm a guy after all. But as long as its good music, I'm in. I am downloading their discography from Jpopsuki now but its so slow. Hope I can like them as much as you do. Its so hard to get into another band after being with Laruku for soooo long. And yeah, I finally remember the song I heard in the past - Shining Ray.

haii!I really love Laruku the most, but Janne Da Arc songs are so happy,that's why I like them, and I wanted to download their discography from j-pop suki too, but yeah it was taking for ever, but maybe I should now, maybe if more people start to download it, it can become faster,ne?

PS: what does your nickname mean? I always though of you as a woman because of it, but like 3 months ago you said you were a guy in the Laruku thread, so I'm happy that there's Laruku male fans around

Finally downloaded the song, watched the PV and found the lyrics. Do you any translations to it? I ran Google's translator over it and they seem quite interesting. Sounds like a sad song about lovers parting after college graduation.

I haven't heard alot of their songs yet but yeah, I would describe them in that manner too. Songs that are light and cheerful, unlike stuff from bands like Dir en Grey etc.

Thanks! but sorry I don't have the lyrics....I'm trying to find them, but I haven't find them yet, but I found out that there's a movie coming out about them, and "Furimukeba" is the theme song, this is the review:

"A live documentary movie of Janne Da Arc. In Nov.18, 2003, they held a secret live in their old school, and spoke everything about their past, present and future. . . The movie was shown only in very limited places during a few days finaly comes to DVD!" by cdjapan

So I would like to see it, but I have no money!lol, well jaaa!

Lol,hai, I don't know Chinese(I wish I could,lol), but I love Wang Lee Hom songs , anyways...Is no prob, I had to go to my frined's house, but now I'm finally home, so is ok, it doesn't take that much time , besides pao-chan wanted to hear some songs, and I'm trying to download the dicography too, but is says 13 days!,lol(don't think it's gonna actually take that long), so today I'm leaving my computer on the whole night....
And nope, I'm broke for now, I ordered a News single, plus I'm about to order hyde's album too, so for the moment I can't buy anything else,lol...
And my friend downloaded some Janne Da Arc Pv's, so she gave them to me, if you want I can upload them here, they are really good, but my friend didn't like one, where Yasu comes out with red leather pants , I think he looks ok, I have seen Hyde is worst clothes, but maybe is ok for Hyde to wear weird stuff(he looks good in anything), but Yasu looks weird, but ok,lol....Anyhow, janeee!

Thanks so much for the songs, steph! Someone uploaded the 10th Anniversary INDIES COMPLETE BOX~ at Jpopsuki. I think almost everything is the same as the discography except for the two special tracks - MISTAKE & Jesus Christ. I kept on listening to �U�������... today, over and over! Its a sad song I feel... after I read the Chinese translations of the lyrics.

I am still thinking whether to buy that Janne Da Arc DVD. Not gonna order HYDE's new album though Shall wait for the overseas version and save myself some $$$.

I can upload the 10th Anniv. Box for you if you want, I got it yesterday. I have �U�������... 's PV as well - the 190MB version from JPS, although the quality was just normal considering the size. Thanks for upping the PVs but please do them only if you are free, ne? Hahaha, I feel kinda weird, listening to their songs in reverse chronological order. They sound so much cleaner and better now, and the old songs are kinda heavy.

OH mother of God!!!(Hyde's mom,lol)if you could do that it would be great!, but whenever you have time, don't rush, and yeap I have �U������� PV too the really good quality, the one that I have, but the quality sucks is Destination, the video is so dark, and since the quality is bad, I can't see anything,lol...And yeap they sound cleaner now, but you know what, I really like some of their old songs, like I don't know, is weird, like I like their songs, a lot, but I like better the old ones, but still do like their new ones, kind of the same with Laruku, but still Hyde's voice to me is better than Yasu's, so yeap the change is big, but still really good...
