the thing that I don't understand is how come a person wearing glasses could become a pilot.... last epsisode... the ugly guy (kaa-chan or something like that)...

Just don't watch Aya in Shimokita Sundays ok. I think you'll find it lame and disappointing. If in need of more Aya dramas and you like sports....then Ace wo Nerare and Attack No.1 are pretty good. A heads up, a lot of the matches were done with CG or so. If you've seen Preview on Youtube for Prince of Tennis movie....its a lot like that.
If you haven't seen My Little Chef...thats good too. Aya isn't a main character, but she's in every ep and you get to see her when she's younger and with chubby cheeks

then, as KT suggested, don't watch SOS first...watch Good Luck or even Moto Kare first...despite the fact that i didn't really care for that show tho Rina's performance in Moto Kare was the ONE highlight.

O! Moto kare is on my list, tho I remember you suggesting to take it off, hence why I have the "X" beside it. But I suppose I'll watch this before considering SOS, yesh? I'll check to see what other drama's she's been in. _________________

put it this way, lady...if you have an X before Moto Kare you should have a Biohazard symbol before SOS.
