I admit I'm not a fan of Last Friends, it was seriously flawed. But I've seen worse j-dramas. Plus Juri was good in the show, even though none of the characters seemed complex or difficult to portray. At least that's the way the script came across for me.

Oh, I agree completely, that's why I've been perpetually railing against the seemingly endless accolades the drama has been receiving... Grumble

I thought Juri-chan's performance was exceptionally good and probably the most complex of all the characters, but her role got hosed in favor of a cheap ratings grab by the production staff... How that turned into an award-winning drama is beyond me. Shake Head

Had they stayed with her character as the central figure and did away with the underdeveloped fluff characters, it could've/would've been a kick-ass drama.

I love Swing Girls, you guys made me watch it again. And I have an exam to study for. That movie is a lot of fun and Juri looks so young.

Yeah, she still got her chubby cheeks in there.^^ I think she lost some of it with age. hehe

But I'm sure she will do another series soon, cuz any director will be clever enough to ask her to star in their series, since she's so popular all over Asia now. ^^ It will give them high ratings. They're probably waiting for her to grow her hair back. xD just kidding. Mr Green

Is it just my imagination or is it because of her braided hair? Cuz I I think her cheeks are kinda chubby in Swing Girls and in "Turtles Swim faster than expected". ^^
