Grumble Juri don't need no makeup. Nor does any woman. But especially not Juri.

Right, so she's going to have to wear it, whether she likes it/wants to or not.

Yup... But she'll only be wearing it for Shiseido, not for herself.

Juri-chan finshed filming a couple of days ago. Smile

Got a big surprise over at the D-Addicts forum: we were contacted by Chris Jones, the father of the family in Cornwall that Juri-chan lived with for a week back in January 2007... Victory! Peace!

I suppose Mr. Jones googled Juri-sama which led him to the D-Addicts thread. Nothing against D-Addicts but I do wonder why the JDorama thread didn't catch his attention.

The Woodland Valley website describe it as a guest house with organic farming facilities. I wonder how the NHK people came to choose this location.

He did contact me a ways back regarding Juri-chan, but never left a return e-mail address to contact him. Puppy Dog Eyes

Will you consider sending the Joneses a copy of Swing Girls, or even a DVD set of Nodame Cantabile, along with the Kagayagy Onna DVD?

Come to think of it maybe I'll send him a copy of Swing Girls, seeing that the original DVD is already English-subbed.

I've considered all those options... Victory! Peace!

If you plan to send them anything, let's coordinate our efforts so that we don't send them the same thing. Big Grin

OK then. How about I send them the SG DVD and you do NC? I have an original DVD lying around I could spare. I considered sending them the Nodame bag too but it wouldn't mean anything to them until they've watched NC.

An original?

I'd just send a copy... I wouldn't think they're very picky about it.

It might take a bit before I send Nodame: I'm still trying to clean up the subtitles... Hmm, maybe I'll just send them the SARS version. Victory! Peace!

EDIT: There's also the issue regarding Region protection if you send an original... Sweat

We wouldn't want to give the impression that we advocate piracy now, do we? Wink

NC has not been officially subbed, so that can't be helped. Personally I like Siantut's subs a bit more that SARS', but go with what you feel comfortable with.

True.

But what about the Region Code issue? Sweat

I'm not comfortable with the SARS subs, either, but they've been proofread, whereas siantut's needs some considerable cleanup.
