Hey Capriccioso. Are you from Korea? Is she really popular there?
I was wondering because I always see many press/interviews of Juri from SK, almost as many from Japan. Would most young people from Korea know who Juri is, or only a few like you?

LOL.
The lead should have fun just like everyone else...

I think Juri-chan is quite popular in Korea, seeing how many times she's visited to promote films and dramas...
We should be so lucky here in the States.

Yeah I'm Korean.
I think Juri is as famous as some Korean actress/actor.
I don't know what can be the basis that says Juri is popular in south korea
but there are about 14000 of Korean Juri fan cafe members. I guess there are more fans who don't join the cafe. Considering Juri is foreign actress, the numer of Juri fans is not a few in korea(I think)
EDIT : Besides some Korean actress/actors knows and likes Juri
I know that fact when Juri visited Korea to attend Pusan film
festival

I think the Japanese film/television industry sees Korea as a viable market, as opposed to us in the States. If they would quit whining about their lack of a world market, and actually subtitle everything on reasonably priced DVD's, maybe Juri-chan would be visiting more.

She wasn't in either scene... Apparently for the reason Flame mentioned earlier...

Seeing Miyazaki Aoi recently went to Taiwan to promote her new movie, I think the next destination Juri-chan will be going for promotion is Taiwan or Hong Kong...There are tons of Juri-chan's fans there..Thanks to Nodame and Last Friends

Generally speaking, dramas are more well-known if compared to movies. It's Nodame and Last Friends that really boost her popularity..

Swing Girls was quite popular when it was released in Hong Kong. Nodame was aired on TV (Sunday mornings) about 3 months ago as well as the Europe special. Last Friends will be shown on HDTV shortly, but not yet.
