Thank you for the links. The torrent leads to .MKV files. Anyone knows which programs handle this file type?

Sorry. It's seems that this programs links have an error.
MCP isn't for all systems - it's only for Windows Bonk
But VLC and MPlayer one could use with MAC and Linux also.
MPlayer have even bigger operating systems coverage.

,MKV files are ok: There's a program called MKVextract, which allows you to extract the video, audio or subs from the file. MKV is basically a container that allows multiple audio and/or subtitle files, so you can choose them (much like a DVD). Only takes a minute or so to extract a sub file.

Will have to add that eMule file to my list.... there's a few now.

Depends on what the original file was - .mkv container just "holds" them all together.

I don't understand why they couldn't just use AVI, since it's a container as well.

Just finished the emule d/l of the first part of Rainbow Song...as expected the video quality is excellent...the second half d/l should be finished in less than an hour...someone has requested subs at kloofy & that usually gets the process started, so we just have to wait...

Don't know if this was mentioned before, but I'm proofreading the English subs for Kagayaku Onna... Translations are by Neiji and Noblsheep and timing by Noblsheep. Thumbsup

I hope to release them at D-Addicts in a couple of days. Victory! Peace!
