Swing Jazz Girl

This was mentioned in D-Addict's 'Upcoming Dramas' section. However there are no further information at this point to know if this is just speculation. Personally I'd love this this done, especially if some the original cast from "Swing Girls" will appear in this drama.

I've just finished watching episode 1 of "Nodame Cantabile" with subs, but the music is still swirling in my head. This drama has certainly not forgotten it's manga roots, with manga motifs littering throughout. As a fan of Ms. Ueno's I'm very glad she's given the title role, and by the look of this first episode I won't be disappointed.
I'm not in mangas at all - the only one I've finished reading was "Ranma 1/2". However I'm going to take a leap here and try "Nodame Cantabile".
Amazon listed an OST and a special live performance of this drama, to be released in December. I've placed an advance order for both - just hoping they will arrive in time for Christmas.

are you planning to purchase it?
also,
thanks for the information on the OST.
I'm going to place an order with Amazon for this book, the "Rainbow Song" premier release OST, and the "Rainbow Song" production notes DVD next week. Hopefully I'll receive everything by mid-Nov.

I do what I can.
The only calendar Ms. Ueno did so far was in 2004 (released in 2003). Quite frankly I don't think she's the gravure kind, with all due respect to gravure idols, so I don't forsee another calendar job soon. But then again it's a Amuse's (Ms. Ueno's agency) decision and you never know...

Just saw on the news that Korea's MBC has confirmed they will be producing a drama version of Ms. Ueno's latest movie release, "Rainbow Song".
I haven't watched the movie yet but from the special production DVD, this movie is certainly testing Ms. Ueno's acting abilities. In fact this is the Ms. Ueno's first role in which she
