How's this sound for her next drama/comedy/romance, she does well in the lighthearted yet serious roles and of course Erika has to be with her, getting ready to send in to the TBS drama department.
Yuki and Yukie have been best friends since childhood, doing everything together, now that it's time to get married they're going to do that together also, getting married in a double ceremony. Ceremony goes off without a hitch but in everyone's excitement they failed to notice the priest got the names mixed up and he married the wrong couples, no one noticed except the wedding clerk who put the wrong names on the marraige certificates making the marriages legal, then they signed it not noticing the errors.
When the mistake finally came to light they were stuck, coming from strict families the brides weren't allowed to live with their real husband but were forced to be with the wrong husband...starting with the honeymoon!!!! Talk about a dilemma, this is the night Yuki and Yukie have been waiting for their whole lives, what are they going to do.... hence the madcap hijinks start!
Yeah she does, but the wrong one! _________________

On September 18th, actress Aragaki Yui rode through Kyoto via bicycle, participating in the fund-raising activities for victims of Tohoku earthquake.
We previously reported about this project organized by the entertainment company gLes Pros entertainmenth back in March. This bicycle event was one of the events for the gLes Pros Happy Charity Projectg.
Since June 5th, gHapichari Bokinbu(Happy charity fund-raising team)h has started riding bicycles from Jingu Gaien in Tokyo, the team went through Chubu, Kyusyu, Chugoku along with the shikoku region and Hokkaido. At the Heian Jingu Shrine stop, which was the goal of Aragakifs bicycle participation, there were more than 3,000 people waiting for Aragaki.
Aragaki started her efforts run from Ritsumeikan Univ. and rode the bike for 5km in Kyoto city. At the destination, Heian Jingu Shrine, Aragaki thanked everyone one by one for helping raise funds for the project.
Even after greeting all the people in the long lines, Aragaki kept a smile and thanked all the people. When one particular fan donated while whispering, gHope people all over the world will be happy.h, Aragaki broke down and began to cry. Aragaki explained this moment by stating, gIt was really touching, all the people who wanted to help the victims and cooperated for this charity.h
After finished the fund-raising event, Aragaki went to up the to a high vantage point and continually yelled, gThank you!!h and added, gPlease going back home safely. Thank you so much. For sure, we will deliver all the money to the people fighting!h

My thoughts on Zenkai Girl...
Click on button to reveal/hide spoiler:
* A lot like Moto Kare in the sense that you have a bit of a love triangles, an ambitious career-oriented female lead along with a sometimes wishy-washy male lead. However, the characters on ZG are much more well developed.
* Also like Moto Kare it's somewhat disappointing that the sweet girl gets the short end of the stick, but it's much more tolerable here because of the two leads.
* Gakky was awesome as always, I also really liked Yakushimaru Hiroko in this drama. Second time I've seen her along with 1 Litre of Tears, excellent actress.
* Speaking of Yakushimaru, it was quite awesome how her character outsmarted and pwned Shindo when he tried to overthrow her from her position in the law firm.
* The kids were equally good actors as the adults in this drama, which was refreshing to see. It was also great to get a drama where the kids weren't annoying.
* One issue I had with this drama was the amount of cliche near-misses. Rather it was the ex-wife showing up when Wakaba's ready to confess or Shindo telling Shota to back off from Wakaba. At first it was expected from this type of drama but after a while it got repetitive and annoying.
* It also gets annoying seeing Hinata preaching to Wakaba at the last minute about following her feelings. Seriously, what do little kids know about love?
* The whole wedding thing played out was a little cheesy but clever.
* * I do wish they did more with Shota's french chef plotline, particularly in the second half of the drama instead of just slap it together at the last minute and sending him off to France.
* I loved the ending, it was kinda cute.
Overall a good drama, but not one of my favorites yet. I think I'll do a re-watch to see how good it really is. _________________

Just saw this on tumblr.

And the summary of the article:
They tell about how they went bowling and then about how there was an afterparty. The producer was from Fukushima so that might be why there were many speeches about the disaster. Gakky said gI was wondering if it was okay for me to do such a role in times like these, but I want to convey courage through my acting.h While, on the other hand Nishikido went - possibly influenced by his alcohol. gEven at nights, girls on the streets would give me compliments about my role and talk to me.h And about the kiss scene with Gakky, he said gI was happy that I got to kiss Gakky.h [he said echuf and not ekissf] an insider says that everyone was completely stunned. To Gakky fans this is a painful comment, but Gakky belongs to everyone, right?

Here's some great Gakky news.
Aragaki Yui to star in gRanma 1/2 live-action special
The classic manga gRanma 1/2h is being turned into a live-action drama special this December, starring actress Aragaki Yui (23). The drama will be an original story with Tendo Akane as the main character. The part of Saotome Ranma will be played by actor Kaku Kento (22) and Natsuna (22).
Originally written by Takahashi Rumiko and published by Shogakukan between 1987 and 1996, the manga has had more than 53 million copies printed. The comic has also been adapted as an anime series and has spawned several video games.
In the drama special, Aragaki plays Akane, who is determined to protect the longevity of the Tendo dojo. However, one day her father Soun suddenly declares that the dojofs successor must be male. This rules out Akanefs intended partner Ranma, who suffers from a curse that turns him into a girl whenever he is splashed with cold water. In order to remove the curse and inherit the dojo, Ranma seeks out a secret hot spring, but he encounters a mysterious enemy.
The announced cast also features Hasegawa Kyoko as Tendo Kasumi, Tanihara Shosuke as Ono Tofu, Furuta Arata as Saotome Genma, and Namase Katsuhisa as Tendo Soun. The casting for the other characters has not yet been revealed.
NTV will broadcast the 2-hour drama sometime in December.

Hi everyone
Just speculating here, about Gakky as Akane...are they going to cut Gakky's hair to? You know, in the anime, Akane has long hair and her hair was cut short in an accident.
So...will they do the same in the live-action? What do you think?

Bienvendidos. As regards to her hair, I don't know what they'll do. Imagining Gakky with short hair is hard to do. I think she's beautiful the way her hair is now. _________________

Gracias Gakky hasn't had short hair since she was a Nicomo model, so it will be a big shock to see her like that, right? But I bet she would look beautiful as always.
Might be a image-spoiler for some who haven't finished watching, of haven't watched Zenkai Girl, so...
NTV has revealed the first teaser picture of actress Aragaki Yui as the protagonist in the upcoming drama special, gRanma 1/2g, and it was revealed that she actually cut g1/2 (half) of her long hair for this role.
Aragaki is known for her beautiful long hair and so her transformation took fans by surprise. However, it was Aragaki herself who made this proposal to the staff, as she was determined to completely dedicate herself to this live-action adaptation. Shefs been a big fan of gRanma 1/2 mangaka, Takahashi Rumiko, since her junior high school days.
Furthermore, it was revealed that she actually cut most of her hair herself, after the beauty artist proposed, gWhy donft you try cutting it to shoulder-length yourself?h The beauty artist then continued to give her the very unfamiliar short hairstyle.
Aragaki commented, gThe last time I had such a short hairstyle was in junior high school.h She added, gI didnft hesitate at all when it was time to cut my hair and just did it. It wasnft really that much of a moment for me. (laughs) Many people around me were surprised to see me with my hair so short, but some actually remembered the days when I had a similar hairstyle.h
Commenting on the drama special, she said, gThere are some real action scenes and I get muscular pain every time I have to practice for them. Ifm really serious about this!h
NTV is going to air gRanma 1/2 on December 9th.
