And just wondering, does Takki actually WRITE songs? I think he wrote Futari no Yoru (on 2wenty-2wo�j but I can't be sure. Just that I was running a random search using his kanji/chinese name (���G��/泷泽�G��) the other day and it turns out he wrote quite a few songs, including one sung by SMAP. I'm just wondering whether did I get the right guy. >>;;

Takki does write some of his own songs. Futari no Yoru was one, but he used the pseudonym LaVenDer in the credits of the CD.
Another one that he wrote was 894.. Hakushi which he sang in the Hatachi concert. Also, he wrote a few songs for KAT-TUN as well.
Oh, and I would like to see that clip of Takki talking about Yoshitsune please. =)

(Note: I think I blinked twice when I first watched this clip - am too too accustomed to Takki as a blonde, and suddenly his hair is as black as mine. Double take there. XD I'm not sure when is the clip filmed - so is Takki now a brunette, or a blonde? Anyone has any idea?)

Reverie, thanks for the information on Takki and song-writing. I think my impression of him just went up another notch - an artiste that can write their own material impresses me. XD Any idea whether does he play any musical instruments? I would assume piano and/or guitar. Plus there was this pic of him and Tsubasa sitting around a keyboard (and another one where he had his arms around Tsubasa in a pose that suggested he was trying to teach him play, but yeah XD).
And whoosh, long post, but man, we need to keep this thread alive. Seems like the TxT fans are disappearing somewhere. Guess I'm just thinking of the hundreds and hundreds of discussion pages on KAT-TUN, ARASHI etc compared to them. Ehehee.

songwriting..i know one song sung by kat-tun that takki wrote, it's 'my angel,you're angel' ..notice the incorrect grammar but i guess it's great that he's trying to write something in english

He loves to produce too!!!Like the Arashi's PV A.Ra.Shi they have two versions the other version was directed & produce by Takki!And also the opening credits of Shounen Club in year 2002 it was directed also by him!Well he said he wants to be a director.
Instruments Takki can play are Piano & Guitar!

I don't think he wrote Kiseki though. ^^;; Am pretty sure he wrote Futari no Yoru, but not Kiseki.
Thanks for the information and the uploads, pinkgloss! I took all of them because I am leecher like that. XD I sort of figured that Takki either plays the piano or guitar or both, like most composers who composed. I think I only know of ONE other composer (chinese guy) who uses the violin - the rest of the world probably bangs it out on the piano and guitar and Takki's no exception, ne? ^^;;
I really am not a fan of any other Johnny's groups besides TxT. I listen to ARASHI, KAT-TUN, NewS etc but there's no liking for them, at least, not the rabu rabu extent of my beloved TxT. XD XD
OH, I also found out that Takki wrote My Angel, You Are Angel (someone correct the guy on the English!) and Fight All Night for KAT-TUN. Since the composer is listed as LaVenDer, it's definitely Takki.
The uploads I promised will be up soon, I'm just sorting everything out onto YSI later-ish.
People, generate more discussion about TxT! XD

The Serenade upload is being a pain in the ass with YSI. I'll toss it up on MegaUpload and post the link later, sorry! It's just that I've upped these yesterday and frankly don't want to wait for Serenade upload, it had been killing me several times over. Ugh. *kicks the connection*
It's an interview on Takki - and he was being very frank and open, and I really see him so much more as just a pretty face. I don't think he has it very easy - it's been hard on him, and seeing how the unit of Tackey and Tsubasa didn't take off as well as everyone had hoped, both he and Tsubasa are also still struggling in some sense.
And he was also very realistic, he knew that the pop-idol status wasn't going to last until he's 40, and he's worried about that - and at the same time, I feel that he's trying to branch out, in the sense that he composes, and as pinkgloss said, trying his hand at directing and producing, and I really hope he can achieve something with that.
I think reading this article surprised me again in some sense - Takki's actually very deep in his thoughts, huh?
Any other thoughts after reading the article? Will love it if you could share them. ^.^

It amused me, too, that he wanted to be manlier. But to tell the truth, Takki has the masculine kind of pretty, as compared to Tsubasa - Tsubasa has the feminine kind of pretty. You can see from their cosplay photos where Tsubasa managed to look like a somewhat pretty girl while Takki just look like Takki in drag.
