aka SOS..

I totally felt for Takizawa's character, the way he could never muster up the courage to tell Fukada about his true feelings for her.

Not to mention Kubozuka was also in the drama!
He's my absolute favorite.
He has the sweetest way of smiling..
Uchiyama was also very good too.

The whole story is very delicately told, very slowly and deliberately-
maybe too much so for some viewers. Anyway, this drama is my alltime favorite!

I somehow like story like S.O.S... although I experienced some depression when going through one to one episode of it... I found rina's performance Superb through S.O.S... and the story is not bad

I like it... although it's little dark at first in my opinion

Kinpachi Sensei 6 on KTSF. Got into jpop and movies way earlier but never touched dramas. It was also that drama that got me hooked on Ueto Aya. I'm still looking for a subbed version of it.

It was an older (mid-90s) drama called Age 35 Koishikute. I watched it subtitled on the International Channel while i was in college. First i started watching because i'd crack up over the main character's facial expressions when he was stunned, but then i got hooked on the plot.

Wow my first post here ever!

The first drama i saw was GTO. And lol I was hooked instantly.

Especially after seeing the second drama which was Long Vacation.

And the third one was Beautiful life.

Now I'm a complete die-hard fan. I've seen 8 dramas in total and they should all be called Beautiful life. The best is still Long Vacation.

Not sure if this is the righ thread to give grades. But here goes:

GTO 10
Long vacation 10
Beautiful life 10
Good luck 9
Sutaa no koi 8
Beauty or beast 8
Otousan 10
Summer snow 10

Thanks! Well as you can see no one has a low mark so I think pretty highly of these dramas. Maybe I'm just lucky to have come across the very best so far. But everytime I see a new drama that argument gets slashed to pieces. Big Grin

Dramas I must get asap:

God please give me more time
Gokusen
Boku dake no Madonna
Love generation

I would suggest go get God, Please Give Me More Time (super sad yet very humane) and Love Generation (simple and sweet) first! Gokusen is a lot like GTO, while Boku Dake no Madonna has such similarities to Long Vacation.

BTW, my all-time favourite is also Long Vacation, and mind you, I've watched A LOT of J-doramas, and I still think that LV is the best!
