I am surprised to find out that I haven't posted the dorama that got me hooked into jdorama.. i think i posted the story in d-addicts but not in here..

For me, the dorama that reeled me in was H2 with Yamada Takayuki and Satomi Ishihara.. I have been a fan of the Japanese culture FOREVER but one sunday night.. i was prepping for my exams, i was going into winamp to look for some music to play when i browsed on SHOUTCAST TV.. i saw the azntv stream and clicked on it.. the scene was soooo hilarious.. it was episode one and the baseball club was playing against the soccer club.. i was watching it out of curiosity and I fell in love with Yamada and the humor of the show.. since it was a stream.. i ended up watching it nonstop with no breaks from 4pm to 11pm.. and the bad thing was..it ended on ep.08!!! so i had to download.. i started with eps.08-11 and thought to myself.. "wouldn't it be nice to have the whole series?"

and so i did.. after that came sekachuu, gokusen, kimi wa petto.. so on and so forth.. amen.

My friend sent me Densha Otoko, and I found that really awesome! I slightly noticed Oguri Shun's character, so I searched his profile here on Jdorama.com, and found some other series of him. Then my friend sent me GTO, which rocked my socks, hehe... Then I've been getting Gokusen, Hana Yori Dango, Summer Snow, Koi Ga Shitai... Yes, I think that's all for now

My REALLY first Jdrama should be considered as Long Vacation, but I was only 9 then and didn't know what OBSESSION was, thus I kinda forgot about it.

Then I watched Pride this year on TV and from then onwards, I was officially hooked. Not just onto J dramas but also Takuya Kimura (:

It'll be Imouto yo. Saw it some 10 years ago.

it was super hilarious and so silly.
and then it faded off.
and now because of Pride, Takuya Kimura, Yuko Takeuchi, i found my love once again!!

YAY TAKUYA KIMURA! My ONLY favourite actor. Pride was so kickass, waaayyy better than all those sappy Kdramas that people are so high on nowadays

^^ I don't get it either with the Kdramas.. seriously.. I'd rather watch taiwanese dramas over kdramas anyday..

"Hero". It is not the first JDorama I watched but is the first one that draws me back to the TV set week after week. I've come to appreciate JDorama more in recent months, digging up oldies such as "101 Kaime no Puropozu".

GTO! Got me completely hooked on jdramas after that (though none have yet to match its inspirational ability :P)

i know that one!(since we live in the same country) it must be the one Fukuyama Masaharu with Tokiwa Takako. it was a sad drama but my love affair started when i watched Love Generation through my sis' cds. and even though i don't understand a thing(no subs at dat time) i was hooked and fell for Summer Snow and Kindaichi..

the first japanese drama that i saw was the LAST SAMURAI....it was awesome............
