It means that use of the word 'jap' to refer to the Japanese people (in general or a specific person) is rude. It's like calling an African-American 'nigger'.
This forum discusses all aspects of the Japanese culture. We have no wish to be disrespectful to the Japanese and ask all member to bear that in mind.

One of the disadvantages of not reading previous posts. He/she could have moved the scroll bar up a little and can easily see the explanation.  _________________
