I came across Poh Kim's VCD promo fair at Bishan J8 (open area near bus interchange) this morning. They have quite a number of Jdorama titles, including Moto Kare (abt $16). Some at 3 for $30 (eg. Gift, Sora ...). U may want to check it out. It's on for 1 week, i think.

Erm is the VCD Motokare the same cover as the one I posted in page 28? Cos this cover VCD is produced by some taiwan company and it really S*xs. Can't play on computer and it hangs on some disc
75% from yahoo auctions SG, 15% from stores, 10% from friends
hmm urs chinese subtitled rite? Anyway u ever buy from yahoo auctions from overseas dude? That ger is from malaysia. I needa use registered post to send her the cheque and then she sent me the disc.
Is the yahoo rating reliable? Cos I'm scare she's a cheat :x
Yahoo ratings are pretty reliable when they are >50 but you must look if out of the 50+++... is he/she a seller/buyer. Some people are good buyers but bad sellers or vice versa.
There is always a certain amt of risk involved when you send concealed cash overseas. Nothing is 100% even with registered mail.... there is no stopping some evil post office personnel from tearing ur envelop and stealing the $$$.
I would to see if there are any locally based sellers on yahoo auctions first. primarily cos you can just do a bank trf instead of sending cash overseas so troublesome.
Here's someone selling locally but even for local deals, i would suggest using registered post when you ask the seller to mail to you. Singapore Post is reliable but not 100%......... Low Screw Ups does not mean NO Screw Ups.

Yahoo ratings are quite reliable. If you are intending to send anything to Malaysia, Please use registered mail. If you send by ordinary mail, chances of reaching them is 0%. It is beacuse I have send only birthday cards or photos to my friends in KL, they never received my parcel or letters unless I send them thru registered.
As for most of my dramas, I either buy them from shops or exchange with my friends.

Sorry, dun remember. I've bought some VCDs from TS and they play fine on a VCD player as well as on the PC. Of course some discs are a pain, but one learns to put up with imperfections, right?
Looks like jdramas are making a comeback, judging by the titles brought in by TS & PK. Hooray!!

Read by msg CAREFULLY before posing questions.
that's unless you don't understand the meaning of LOCALLY BASED SELLERS.
I think Enzo84 means she is trying to buy Moto Kare the Japanese Show from a Malaysian Buyer from Yahoo Singapore Auctions therefore she will like to know the fee to transfer from Singapore to Malaysian bank account.
I think you can transfer from your singapore account to any account in the world through Telegrapphic Transfer for a fee. I am not sure how much does it cost. but I think it will cost you at least $20 per TT.

Err........ i don't get what's Enzo84's problem? Just felt that the question was redundant.
Scared of mailing $$$ to Malaysia right? So just buy from Singapore sellers on yahoo auctions. Problem of $$$ trf easily solved. A word search of Moto Kare on yahoo auctions throw up 2 SG sellers....

Well if I'm not wrong, there's only one Singapore seller. The other one is the current malaysian that I'm buying from. And that singapore seller wasn't even available when i search for it a few days back.
