Hey there.

I don't have mid years.. haha.. weird policy of my school. BUT... my mid year scores are calculated by common tests almost every week. And I just received news that after the Midterm vacation.... i'll be having exams every week... a la prelims... but of course not the prelims themselves.

I'm so dead, but argh, what can i do.

Yeah anyway... i'm not free enough to watch any jdramas now... and itsumo futari de is placed in such a weird timeslot... 11.45 is an unearthly hour for me.

I hope MCS will buy better dramas from fujitv. For a start, why don't they import 'suna no utsuwa'... but that's virtually impossible this yr... even if they do, they'll buy it like... what... 5 years later?!

Suna no Utsuwa is by TBS so maybe they might not bring it in since they only have a contract with Fujitv. i think TCS should broadcasts dramas from all the stations instead of just Fujitv. TBS and the other channels (NTV etc.) also have alot of good dramas. Read from Life! that Sakai Noriko would be coming to sg on 24th June to promote the vcds of Toshiie and Matsu.

Nurseman and Otousan are not from Fujitv actually, so it seems that they are showing dramas from other stations but at a bad timeslot. Sad

Otousan was shown on TBS in October 2002 in Japan
Nurseman was screened on NTV in January 2002 in Japan...

Didn't know that those weren't from Fujitv. But most of them screen here are from there. Didn't manage to catch both coz of work... Sad Wonder if they will show the nurseman special? Let's face it, all the dramas are at really bad timeslots. Sad

Yep. it"s a pity coz alot of dramas from the other stations are good too. like TRICK, gokusen, moto kare etc.

Heh ... the late night timeslot is ok for me as I'm a late sleeper.

Abt Itsumo futari de, it's at the halfway mark now and I think it's building up nicely albeit slowly. The replacement for Kashiwabara is actually not too bad if you can accept that he's older and not as good-looking. Bleah One little misgiving is that they should have kept the show consistent by redoing the old scenes with the new actor.

Well just my 2 cents opinion, Kashiwabara fans don't kill me. Beaten

I felt that as well!! They shoulda remade the whole drama with the new actor cause Kashiwabara was just in for 2 episodes...

i agree with m|ra|.. it's like asking the actors to react two whole episodes of scenes.. that's a lot of work.. at first, i was really not very happey with the change though there's nothing else you can do.. but i think katsurayama shingo did quite a good job.. i slowly got quite used to him.. sometimes think he looks rather cute too.. ^^

btw, wai, you're a teacher..? hmm.. about how often i like tests.. of course, no tests are best.. Bleah , but i guess without them we won't be forced to study and revise.. i guess the system now works.. with CAs, SAs, and weekly or biweekly class tests..
