Actually the first few episodes are just only introducing the characters so not much of action yet. But is a good show nevertheless. Since I took japanese studies as one of my modules in my first year at the uni, its quite interesting to watch what I have learned about the history of Japan. Oh and the stars looked fabulous even in japanese costumes!!!

Oh Maine~ u took js1101e in ur first yr? me too lol...and am majoring in it lol ^_^

the returner is pretty cool~ didn't manage to catch the previous movies! how was princess blade and onmyouji?

Maine, the jpn lang in NUS consists of 7 hours(still?), and you'll learn lots...at least you'll definitely be able to speak and write. and the classes i had are all very interesting, though Walker sensei can be quite demanding when i first had her... Sweat

dr fujimura? was that basic 2 or intermediate 1? think i took the one where they co-lectured too, but that was a year or 2 ago. when did you take the module?

My lecturer used to be Walker sensei for basic 1 and 2, but now it's different, Xia Qian sensei.

Yup, it's still 7 hours..heard they cut it from 8...but i still find 7 a bit not enough in order to attain true proficiency...nooo!! don hit me!!! lol...

I was in Japan for a few weeks for some japanese lang course, and all i can say that the classes there are abt 5 to 10 times more demanding than nus lol...i went home everyday in cold sweat... ^^ ;

So which year are you all in? which fac? or when did you graduate?
Nice meeting you all! xD

Yay to year 2!! But it's stressing!!! I'm already going crazy over sch work!!! _ _;;

If given the time i think i wil be watching Japanese shows all day long, variety shows (mecha mecha iketeru, gakkou e ikou, hey hey hey etc) and j dramas....reason is for entertainment and learn the lang! <33
